We were warned by family not to work with Amish Gallery based on the customer service they received, but figured it was a fluke and decided to give it a chance since we really like the furniture our family has. We ordered 2 couches and a storage ottoman on March 12th. We were promised delivery within 4-6 weeks (April 23rd was 6 weeks). As of May 5th I still had not heard anything about scheduling delivery so I called. I was told they did not have any info but that it should "be any day now". I did not hear anything by that Thursday, May 9th, so again I called. Whomever answered was extremely short with me, but promised to call the GB store for an update. She called me back a bit later, and very casually informed me that my furniture would be ready for delivery by May 20th. I interjected that this was over 10 weeks from our order date, and she became very rude and told me this was not their fault and there was nothing she could do about it. I asked why it was so delayed and only then did she explain that there had been a mistake with the order and only one of the couches had been ordered. She then explained that one couch and ottoman had been ready for quite some time, but they were holding it to save from taking 2 trips. I requested separate delivery as, at this point, we were living in our new house nearly a month with no living room furniture. Stuart then called me to schedule delivery, and after some back and forth agreed to a weekend delivery as I am only available on Thursday afternoons and was not going to wait until the following week. That Saturday, May 11th, he arrived, alone, to deliver our couch and ottoman, explaining that the other person "forgot" and he needed my husband to help bring the furniture inside. I called again on May 21st, the week of our promised second delivery, and was told it should arrive to the shipment center that evening and they would call to schedule delivery as soon as it arrived. As of May 22nd, at 8pm, I had heard nothing about delivery. I was going to call again but, honestly, I was so sick of begging for our furniture. I filed an online complaint at which point Stuart called to schedule something, claiming he thought it had already been scheduled. Throughout this entire process, and all of these phone calls, not one single employee apologized for the inconvenience. And it's a bummer because we really do like the couches, but I will NEVER shop with Amish Home Gallery again and I will warn all family and friends to do the same. Also, the storage ottoman does not close all the way and is stuffed very haphazardly. We haven't even asked for them to fix it because when my family tried that, they were treated poorly and still left unhappy with it. At this point we are just ready to be done with the whole ordeal and move on. Other stores would offer quick apologies and even discounts for the inconvenience, but all we have gotten is rude employees who make sure we know we are an inconvenience. Long story short, the furniture is comfortable, but be prepared to jump through hoops to get it, and pray that it is well made because if it isn't, you're still stuck with it.

Beware. Poor Customer Service. Before you sign, know that if you custom order or purchase in the store, you are buying a FINAL sale item. It does not matter if it is damaged. We received a damaged set (see pictures below) and were called a liar by the owner Kathy and her son Todd that the dining room set had no defects. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere if looking for an Amish piece of furniture.

We needed warranty work on our Smith Bros motorized reclining sectional; we purchased it at a now-closed local furniture store, and Smith Bros said we had to go through AHG.

Todd and his employees were nothing but 100% kind and helpful from day one, even when Smith Bros didn't fully come through for us. Todd did everything in his power to make our situation 100% correct and made sure we were satisfied (I mean he didn't really HAVE to; we didn't purchase our furniture there). He even came out to our home, personally, to re-stuff two cushions that just weren't done right by Smith Bros.

EVERY COMPANY should take note; this is how customer service should be! First class -- all the way from the store employees and Stuart at the warehouse to the wonderfully polite delivery guys. Extremely attentive to our needs.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Amish Home Gallery in Appleton if you're looking for furniture and want the fabulous service that goes with it! We will definitely be shopping there for our future...

I buy all my furniture through this family owned business! I can get it custom ordered to my liking, so I don’t have to settle for anything less than what I want. It is great quality, unlike the cheap/flimsy stuff you will have to replace from franchise stores. The furniture here lasts forever, even with children constantly jumping/banging on it. I have received so many compliments from guests on my furniture. I have read other reviews, it is common sense that it is a final sale if it is custom ordered. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, they explain all my options to make it exactly how I want. It may take a little longer to receive the items, but it is hand made and great quality. You get what you pay for. I will 100% recommend...
