This rating is in no way meant to degrade our server willie...he was an outstanding waiter and did everything in his power to make us happy. We went to Red Lobster in Appleton, Wisconsin, 4 of us total and two of us who never been there. We walked in waited 5 minutes to be seated, another 10 minutes to be greeted by our very nice waiter and then a menu description was given and finally offered drinks. The drinks took an additional 5 minutes in a not so busy restaurant so 20 minutes for drinks and the ability to order apps. The apps zoomed out about 10 minutes in and were good but those famous biscuits came out lukewarm and dry. The issue came with dinner and dessert. We ordered before 2 other tables and yet they were served salads and their entrees before we got ours. Then I received my 2 entrees after about another 15 minutes but the rest of my table didnt get theirs. We waited another 10 minutes and mind you I ordered the tuna poke and lobster roll which is served chilled and asked about the salads as we had yet to receive them. The waiter apologized indicated that several people were sat in his section all at once and he was behind...I appreciate the honesty. The salads came out 2 minutes before the entrees and the entrees had been sitting under warners for a minimum of 10 minutes, dry, over cooked and even more disappointment. I then asked to see the manager who came out saw the food and offered to comp the dinner as well as remake it...I'm thinking,"great a redeeming factor, I didnt expect to be comped but if im paying 35 bucks an entree then it better be made right, we dont go out much and when we do it's a treat." Well the food was much better and the waiter even gave us all dessert which we waited to open at home, a great gesture until I bit into my key lime pie and received a blond hair middle length in my mouth, no one has blond hair except my friend and she didnt come into contact with my food as I took the to go container from the waiter who has dark brown or black hair. I will not be going back and I feel so bad for our server for his efforts even the general manager because he tried so hard to make it right. Not a good first impression for 2 people who have never been to Red Lobster and a night full of disappointment, for a trip that took 2 months to plan and save for. I am attaching a photo of the hair after I had eaten...
Read moreOur server Michelle was gracious. She agreed to us and took our drink order right away, and we ordered some appetizers and she discussed the appetizers, and my daughter was a little confused on a certain couple of certain things and she took the time to explain them to her and it was that it was. She was very, very good at that and then took the time to Bring our drinks and bring our our appetizers and then took our meal which there was in total eight of us and I asked her to start with my granddaughter because she is very shy and her and I went over the menu in detail so that my granddaughter would feel comfortable ordering her own meal so she took the time listen to my granddaughter make her order and when my granddaughter got a little bit, you know confused or not prepared to answer with the questions she helped her get through it and she ordered her own meal and felt like she was you know the top dog so she was happy and then she took all the rest of our order. Our order is not only came hot and ready to go. They all came Complete and exactly how we ordered them. I don’t think that there was a single complaint at the table, Michelle, our server was wonderful and gracious, and as we needed the different things along the way like more butter, blah blah blah you know different things she was right on the spot by bringing fresh drinks and fresh biscuits and we just 100% had a 10 out of 10 experience I love red lobster I am so so so sorry that they are closing so many of them and they close the one near me in Pensacola, Florida and Cordova mall in case anybody ever asks Cordova Mall in Pensacola, Florida needs a red lobster back But other than that it was wonderful. It was a treat and we very much appreciated it so I thank you and I thank her. She was really very in tune to Our needs and delivered our needs and we appreciate her very much for taking care of my family. There was a lot of us and we appreciated it so thank...
Read moreMy fiancé and I decided to take our 1 year old son out to red lobster last night because we have a red lobster outfit and thought it would be the perfect place for him to wear it. The dinner was not enjoyable. Spent nearly $100 to leave full plates at the table. The only items that were finished were our drinks. My fiancé ordered the Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo and got chicken linguini alfredo. I got the grilled chicken caesar salad and the calamari appetizer. When our server dropped off our food I asked for an extra marinara and that was the last time we saw her until we were getting ready to leave. Turns out I didn’t even need it because the calamari was really chewy and smelled fishy. I didn’t want to make my partner feel bad so I stomached some down drenching it with the marinara I did have. My salad had tons of brown soggy leaves and hardly any dressing so I spent more time picking at it than I did eating it. My fiancé got up to find our server to ask for the bill but ended up paying it with the manager. Our server didn’t come back with the extra marina until we were getting ready to leave. She did apologize for forgetting. Our son is 1 and doesn’t color, yet we were charged $1.99 for crayons he didn’t use because he tried putting one in his mouth right away. On top of that we had a man across the area who was sitting alone just staring at my partner and son the whole time. We turned my son’s back to him but didn’t want to make a scene or be rude so we tried ignoring him until he approached us asking if we would mind his company. We politely declined and left the tip and got the heck out of there. At least my colada was good and my son enjoyed his food. Picture was taken as we...
