1st Class Party & Event Rentals — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

On 12/5/2024 i contacted this company 1st Class Party Rental Table located in West Hempstead, NY. I called and spoke with Bryan initially. I also texted him the request, just to be clear that i needed to rent (6) 30” round cocktail tables and (4) 5ft x 30” rectangular banquet tables. I even went through the trouble of sending the actual photos from their website of the (10) items i wanted to rent. I did all this to prevent any misunderstanding. I needed these items for a big party that i was catering on 12/14/2024. On 12/11/2024, i wanted to confirm my order and tried to contact them and I called several times (6, at least) and nobody answered. Then i texted and called back again and a woman answered and confirmed the order and also she texted me the pick up address (583 Dogwood Ave., West Hempstead, NY 11552) for 2pm. So I was all set. I also rented a cargo van with a driver from my friends company to help me pick up the items and deliver it to Bayside Queens. When we arrived on 12/13/2024 at the agreed scheduled time to pick up the items, we were met by a guy in his 20’s and we noticed that there was only (1) cocktail table and the (4) 5ft x 30” rectangular banquet tables. The guy explained us that they only have (1) 30” round cocktail table because we only ordered (1). I showed him the text communication of what my order was (Please see attached photo) This guy tried to weasel his way out by saying there must have been a miscommunication. But there was no miscommunication because everything was written down on the text and people from the company actually acknowledged everything. So there really is no confusion or miscommunication. I was very upset coz i needed these tables for my event the following day. Now i felt that i was deceived by this company. Not only did this company waste my time and the money I spent renting my friends company van and driver, but they also stressed me out because now, i have to look for another option on a very tight deadline. This was a very frustrating situation they put me in. I feel that this company is very unprofessional and put unnecessary stress on my business plans. I “HIGHLY” DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. Instead use the other company i found that saved me LONG ISLAND TENT & PARTY RENTALS (88 Cleveland Ave., Bayshore, NY 11706) T#631-940-8686. They were very professional and prompt. If there is any question or dispute about this complaint, my friends company van has a video camera that records everything that happens in-front of it and we will be happy to counter the dispute. Coz the video shows the van approaching the location and the (5) tables...

Warning: Avoid First Class Party Rental! We found First Class Party Rental on Google and were initially swayed by seemingly positive reviews. Our usual tent company wasn't available, and owner Bryan was pleasant enough on the phone, making us comfortable booking with him. This, we now realize, was a huge mistake. From the start, issues arose. The 20x30 tent itself was subpar – not like our usual rental. Many aluminum posts were bent, and some of the 80 chairs were scratched and scuffed. During setup, Bryan even demanded an extra $75, claiming it was a bigger job than he anticipated. I reluctantly paid. The only bright spot was the professional, college-aged setup crew, whom we tipped well. Bryan, however, proved entirely unprofessional. Our son's graduation party ended at 2:30 AM on Sunday. A mere few hours later, at 8 AM on Father's Day, Bryan and his crew arrived for pickup. They claimed they'd texted about their 8 AM arrival, but we never received any such notification. If he'd simply called, all our 7 tables would have been completely clear. We had servers and cleaners on site who had already cleared all the tables of food and debris. What happened next was appalling. When my wife came out to our backyard, Bryan immediately started yelling and screaming at her. He ranted, "I am not a bus boy! This is not my job! These things should have been cleaned!" The only items left on the tables were floral centerpieces, which he then violently threw to the ground, destroying them in his anger. This showed complete disrespect and disregard for our personal property. My wife calmly reiterated that we weren't notified of their 8 AM arrival, but he continued to complain about the time it was taking and even threatened to charge us an additional fee for cleaning, telling us to "read the contract." It took them only two hours to break down the 20x30 tent, 7 tables, and 80 chairs – hardly an unreasonable amount of time. His accusations were clearly exaggerated attempts to nickel-and-dime us, just as he did during setup. For a company calling itself "First Class," their service was anything but. Their rudeness, aggressive behavior, lack of communication, and shocking disrespect were utterly unacceptable. We strongly suspect many of First Class Party Rental's positive reviews are not genuine. We urge potential customers to read their negative reviews, which perfectly align with our terrible experience. It's telling that some positive reviews are from individuals with the last name Boswell, which is Bryan's last name. We strongly advise against hiring First Class...

Wow!!!! What else can I say about 1st Class Party Rentals?! Such an amazing company, with amazing people... as well as super close to our home in West Hempstead! I am so glad to have came across this company while looking for a tent/table/chairs rental setup for my backyard wedding! I never ever felt hesitant while working with Brian and his team. My husband and I were always given exact date and times for everything that we needed along with always being updated on our backyard setup. The quality of the chairs/tables are fabulous. The tent looked absolutely breathtaking over our yard centered water fall. I have never seen a tent with such gorgeous globe lights lining the sides... providing ample lighting during the night. 1st Class made sure that their setup/removal of our rented items went as smoothly and quickly as possible. My husband and I truly appreciate the time and effort that this company put into making our backyard wedding one that we, as well as our guests, will never forget. Pictures are soon to come once we get the shots back from our photographer! I would definitely, without a doubt, recommend 1st Class Party Rentals and cannot wait to use their services for all my future party needs!...
