AcuZen Acupuncture, Microneedling, and Salt Cave — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

This business has ZERO customer loyalty. I’ve been a client for over 3 years, but after unknowingly giving the business a 4/5 review (I’d never received a link like this and genuinely thought it was an internal customer satisfaction survey), I was literally banned. All my upcoming appointments were cancelled, as I found out from a voice mail left by the receptionist. (Haven’t seen the money yet.)

I’ve known the owner personally for over 25 years so I reached out. She left me a 22 second voice note saying that they’ve done everything they can to “accommodate “ me, but “ in the end she has to protect her business”. From what, less than 5 star reviews?

Additionally, I was also locked out of their online booking system after cancelling 2 appointments, one of which was because I tested positive for COVID (and offered to PAY because it was less than 24 notice).

Apparently, if you have “too many” cancellations ( which I guess is 2), even if done with more than 24 hours notice, you have to call to make an appointment so they can charge you immediately. Nonetheless, I complied, and after showing MY loyalty, was allowed back on, but with the condition that I would be charged at booking.

The reason I stayed was NOT the acupuncture, which I tried for a short time and chose to discontinue, mostly because I did not trust the provider, who provided for multiple clients at the same time.

I stayed because of the massage therapist, who is amazing- truly. She left the business for quite a while, and she made me a private client, coming to my house. I spent close to $1000 to get all the supplies. However, she returned to the business late last year, and after several months, informed me she would only see me at the business location. I agreed only because she was so great. My understanding is that she thought the 4 star review was about her and was so offended, I was ban Visit if you want, but if you check it out, know the facts.

It’s not at every officeplace that you walk in and can almost feel the intangible warmth and glow that Acuzen engenders. Deborah has put years of blood, tears, and patience into schooling and testing and perfecting every aspect of her craft to make sure she could serve each and every patient to the best of her ability, and rejuvinate them back to supreme health. But perhaps her greatest achievement isn’t all the hard work she’s put in. Perhaps there are other doctors who have tens of plaques on the wall, expressing their highest achievements and comforting their patients who realize subsequently that they are in professional hands. But what Deborah brings to the table is unparalleled. She not only has all the above, but she actually cares for her patients, does her utmost to reinstate their wellbeing, and always leaves you wondering why you are so happy to get sick again. Visiting Deborah’s wellness center is literally a breath of fresh air. I always know that when I enter the building, I’m not leaving until Deborah has given me 100%, and I am feeling ten times better than I did when I came...

Amazing service, I cant say enough. I love going to Dr. Rothman. I started about a year ago and I have seen improvements in my health. My appointments have always started on time. Beautiful building and conveniently located. Dr. Rothman is friendly and welcoming I feel at home at AcuZen (btw the hand soap smells amazing there its worth checking it out just for that).
