Costello's Ace Hardware of Island Park — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

I went to this store today to buy a cleaner for my vinyl deck railings. There was a large assortment of products in the cleaning section. I was not sure what the best product was, so I looked for a salesperson. First I saw an older salesman with a younger salesman. The older man directed me back to the cleaning section. When I told him that I had been there, he pointed me to a display in the back of the store. I told him I already had that product and did not want to use it, because it would damage my plants. He told me to cover them with a tarp. Really? Then the younger man said, "Well I guess I can help you." I walked away. Then I saw another salesman and asked again. He directed me to the same display and told me to buy a spray bottle to use it. Luckily, there was a saleswoman standing behind him. She told me that the product I should use comes in a spray and brought me to shelf it was on. Thank you, Heather. Please tell your SALESMEN that a WOMAN's MONEY is as green as a MAN'S. I love the ace Costello hardware stores in Bellmore and North Massapequa when I lived in eastern Nassau County, Long Island, New York. However, now that I live on the south west portion of the county, I regularly visit Costello‘s hardware store in Highland Park. I must tell you that I have had uniformly good experiences here.
