Worst customer Service Ever!!! I was there on the 19th of this month bought a Tshirt from an Africa American guy, he Rang my item, Asked me if I had an account when I gave him my Canadian number he said sorry we are not connected with the canadian system. So I said its ok just ring me through, used my visa to pay he gave me my item and I left. 2 night before my flight (7Days after) I was packing my belongings only to find out GameStop didn't take off their Ink Tag, I couldn't find my receipt but I do have my transaction showing on my Visa statement. So I went in, in hope they would help me out.
The black girl on shift today was also working on the 19th, so I approached her and explained to her my situation. She literally started making up lies like, we don't sell shirts with Ink tags, we don't have the magnet to disable it, then she lied and said I am new when she was there and I saw her sell an Xbox console to a customer. I SHOWED her all the shirts in the store has tags so how can she just make up one lie after another. She has the audacity to call me out, as if it's stolen. I said to her to check her camera date December 19th to verify my purchase, she wasn't interested, I told her to look up my credit card to find the transaction and she said no, I ask her if I can get the phone number for the head office and she said I don't know. How can you work for a company and not even know their head office phone number. Simply they were not willing to help. I've never seen an employee that ignorant and lazy in my life. All they needed to do is Verify the transaction by looking up the receipt using my Visa and if needed to... they can go back and review their camera's.
They escalated it so much that cops had to be called just so we can get the phone number of the head office.
Lame.... congratulations for having Zero Customer service...

Than when you get there, you're on line forever and half the time you aren't really assisted to your expectation. You expect someone who's happy to assist and open for questions to deliver you answers but all you get is sour attitudes and terrible answers to legit questions. I hate this GameStop but it's the only one in my area and I'm forced to be confined here but I honestly would rather pay full for a digital copy of my games than to go to this store and witness absolute ridiculousness. They'll be workers there and only one register open and said cashier is the only person on the floor willing to help you because everyone else is chatting it up or minding there own business. How is this store still standing? You tell me. Been going to said GameStop for years so I would know how much they'd change and it wasn't a benificial change. That store is like a hangout spot for the people getting paid for it. Your getting paid to help customers, not to exist and take up space. Literally a place I wouldn't recommend to a soul, now I might get into gamefly because at least they care about...
Read moreThis GameStop is AMAZING. I went to day after having a not so pleasant experience at my previous location as the service was bad. When I walked in I was greeted immediately by the man behind the counter as well as the brilliant selection of games, gidgets and gadgets. After some careful consideration I decided on FC25, since I was using a gift card with $100 on it I had a little left over and didn’t know what to get. I had a few questions about the controllers and stuff and all of them were completely answered with kindness and personal experience. With my left over money as a big fan of Pokémon, I was shown the pokeballs and the different individual packs I was still very impressed by the different ps5 controllers and ended up leaving with a smile. 5 stars I totally recommend if you need...
