Mill Pond — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

I absolutely enjoy my peaceful visits to Mill Pond. The last time I went, I took my son. We grabbed a slice of pizza from the pizzeria nearby and then enjoyed a nice walk. There was a lot of geese. We saw a bunch in the water near the bridge, but as we got closer, they came out of the water. If there were just four or five, I would’ve been fine, but there were like 20+ geese waddling toward us. I was trying to be brave in front of my baby lol but I couldn’t front for too long lol. I suggested we cross that bridge another time and go walking instead. We got to see some really cool insects, a black & blue bird that sang a sweet tune, and a honeycomb. We also saw some squirrels fighting over food. I wish there were more seating.
