This is an amazing place to go on a run, workout, do yoga, have a picnic, or just take a nice walk. Grant Park has a big lake in the back and the scenery is amazing! They just redid the paths, but the front is still a little wonky. There are grills, chess tables, baseball fields, handball courts, an outdoor gym, tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball courts, and even an ice skating rink! Unfortunately dogs or any pets aren't allowed, but that is just one con. There are also public bathrooms there and an area for baseball pitchers. This is overall such a great park and if you ever need some peace and a break from life, then this is the place for you. (P.S. there is a 7/11 across the street in case you get hungry!)
