The tragedy here is that I’ve been passing this place, on the way home from my sister’s house in Lynbrook, for years! Today was the first time I stopped in. Friendly staff, goes the extra mile to make your food the way you like it. The tostones were delightful! Light and crispy, not thick and heavy the way many places make them. I could eat a dozen of them with the guacamole, which was made the same way I would make it at home. No onion in it…. A huge plus for me! I like the rice and beans that came with the two tacos I ordered- all for $10.99- but I will say I liked the steak better than the chicken. The owner made me a papaya juice, tailored to my sweet tooth. I am super full and super happy right now. Oh! And they deliver to RVC! Not door dash…. THEY deliver! That is a big selling point for me, as I am anti door...

Be very very careful if you're thinking about ordering from this place as I was just diagnosed with intestinal parasites (Giardia) and it was likely from the lack of food safety and cleanliness from this food vendor.

The morning after I ate this food, I started to develop the worst stomach pain, bloating, and cramps with endless diarrhea and have had it for over a week now. This is easily the worst pain of my life and it's easily avoidable, if you eat food that's prepared by people that wash their hands, don't use dirty water to clean food, etc.

Did my research and the ONLY different thing that I did was in ordering food...

I'm super delighted with this place; I went with a recommendation for the spectacular birria tacos, they were amazing, and the sauce was delicious too, but what caught my attention the most due to their excellent presentation were the patacones, which were served like it was a sandwich, something I had never seen before, not to mention how spectacular it was in terms of taste.
