If I could have given this place negative stars, I would have. H O R R I B L E. We ordered an everything bagel with butter. The bagel was hard as a rock. Definitely inedible. The butter was rancid. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich. The chicken salad was okay but not worth the $5.99 plus tax. We also ordered 2 eggs with crispy bacon with a buttered poppy seed bagel. To our disbelief, we were charged $4.99 for the egg platter plus an additional $1.50 for the bagel with butter. When we asked the extremely rude woman behind the counter, she barked that a bagel does NOT come with the platter. The woman behind the counter acted as though we were bothering her by ordering food. I will NEVER go back here. Save yourself a lot of stress; there are a million really good bagel places nearby. One bagel place down the road includes a drink and choice of a side of macaroni, potato salad, or cole slaw when you order a bagel with a salad (tuna, chicken, egg, etc)....
Read moreThere certainly is a lot of subject matter here for a bad review. Let me start at the top, and let us understand that everything that is wrong with this place from the terrible, overpriced and sometimes spoiled food, to the absolutely reprehensible, rude, disrespectful, slack- jawed behavior of the counter people stems from the owner and flows down from there to poison what was once, a very, very long time ago a decent bagel shop. Scott you should be ashamed of yourself. I once noticed you slicing lox with a band-aid on your finger that was soaked in blood. In the evening while doing laundry next door, after business hours I peered into this dump and noticed three mice running about in the deli display cases. Please do everybody in this community a favor sell this bagel shop to somebody who cares. You should also immediately get rid of Pancho and Lefty up front, they...
Read moreThis bagel store is near King Kullen which was why we stopped by to grab a bite before shopping. It isn't for me. The vibe is a mix of deli/pizza shop/ bagel store. They sell lox, Nova, and other types of smoked fish, assorted bagels, and spreads. They also serve coffees (which is very light for my taste) but maybe that's how some people prefer it. They sell egg sandwiches too as I overheard. Drink selections are in the back by the bottle. We ordered a Nova with scallion cream cheese and both items were very little. They didn't even ask if we wanted the bagel toasted. I have a different bagel store as my top pick...
