Please do yourself a favor and shop at a branded dealership, even if you have to purchase a used car. From salesperson to finance manager to Finance director at this dealership are liars and frauds. If you’re looking to finance a car, they will offer you the price that they advertise online on their website and all the other sites (You have to mention to them the price you saw online or else they will start the convo with the actual price of the car). If you are someone buying the car in cash, then you will be actually paying the actual price of the car and not the discounted price online. This is because they partner with banks and the banks are paying them their share for bringing customers to them, so this is why they list their cars at a discounted price, so they can attract customers and lock them into a finance loan on a high interest rates. Let’s say they list the price of the car for $33,000, and you decide to finance it, then they will offer you this price and act like they are honoring you the price because you asked or negotiated for it, but if you don’t finance it, then you would be actually paying the actual price of the car, which would be $37,000 cash. They make the profit of the difference of this by locking you in a loan with one of their partner banks, and the bank will cut them share of that difference, so technically the dealership isn’t losing any money on it. Also, can some one tell me how in the earth the finance amount of the car can go from $32,850 to $44,000 with an excellent credit score and $8000 down payment? We all know the most common fees on top of the car price are dmv fees, taxes, document fees, etc, but even if you add these amounts, the price shouldn’t go upto $44,000. But this dealership has all the hidden fees, they sell you extended warranty at a such a expensive price (do not buy the warranty with them!!), they charge you for $1850 something for delivery and thousand something for car disposition fee, which is usually only few hundreds. And don’t forget they try to get you lock in at a 10% interest rate and doesn’t matter whether you have an excellent or a poor credit score. A local bank would offer 6.5-7% interest rate with an excellent score. With all these fees and all, they will try to lock you in between $800-$1000 per month on a car that’s worth $32,000. Also, when you are closing a deal with them, they don’t even discuss the breakdown of the price and the amount you will be financing and instead they will print out a paper with 3 options on it for you to pick provided by the bank that their system finds that’s offering the best rate. They do this so they can lock you in without having any discussion, so make sure you ask for the breakdown and the amount you will finance and this is when things will start going down!!! They are so desperate to sell the car and lock you in a loan that they are even willing to waive 1st month payment, so that you come back to them again after 3 months to refinance the car with a credit union at a lower rate. This is a Scam!! Please save yourself the time and the headache and instead just go to a branded dealership even if you have to purchase at a bit more higher price. Don’t let the discounted online price fool you. It’s sad to see most people are falling for their discounted prices and actually locking them into a loan with them when they can go a branded dealership and get a way better offer that will save them money over the course of years. Now, it’s very understandable why Bank of America don’t deal with independent dealerships like one of these because they know...
Read moreI contacted LMC about a car which was a bit out of the norm for them, with their lot containing a majority of the luxury European brands - a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS. The CarFax for this particular vehicle showed it had been involved in a "multiple car crash", but the pictures of the car looked as if it was still a potentially nice vehicle.
I contacted the dealer, and let them know I was interested, however, I had found other very similar cars - 2014/15 Chevrolet Camaro SS with similar mileage and options - at a lower asking price. The other vehicles had also not been involved in an accident which could have had lasting effects on the driveability and reliability of the car, the only difference being the other cars were significantly further away (outside of reasonable driving distance), and this one was a particularly nice color combination both inside and out.
I spoke with their sales rep Noemi Oyola, both via email and telephone, and was already getting a bad vibe - I explained that if they were willing to lower their price to match that of the competing car, I would be very willing to make the two and a half hour drive to see the car. I repeatedly received the standard "thank you for your interest, when can you come in, etc etc" replies via email, and after speaking with them by phone, I was told "the only way we can work on the price for you, is if you fill out our credit application first". I was already pre-approved through my own bank for 1.9%, I have no trade in to deal with, an 808 FICO, and a $5000 down payment - why do I need to fill out your credit app, to even discuss the purchase price?
I did so anyway - with the explanation that this would allow them to offer me a better initial price on the car. As soon as the credit app was complete, I called to let them know, and within an hour I received YET AGAIN the standard "your credit looks great, when can you come in, blah blah blah". TOTALLY ignored every last detail of every email and phone conversation yet again. I emailed again - this is the car I'm looking at, here is the link from their website, can you match it? Two days go by - no response. I send a reminder email. No response.
Poor way to do business - especially for a "high end" car dealer, that I would assume does a lot of business with distant customers. Don't ignore someone who is potentially an extremely easy "sign and drive" customer, just because they show knowledge of how the process works, and how much of a margin you have to work with. Shame on you. You won't be getting business from myself or anyone I know, so please, respond with your standard canned apology...
Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE ! They completely wasted my time ! They ran my credit 8 times after Shiv told me that it will only be ran 4 the most, then the car I was interested in a 2024 Kia K5 GT had a faulty trunk that didn’t stay open and would slam shut shiv says that’s how they are I told him show me that on the other K5 and guess what ? That was false! And told me the car is sold as is but he would speck to his boss to see what can be done 🚩 I was told I was approved but I needed insurance to drive off the lot so I got the insurance and it was sent to the bank only to be told I have to wait until next day. Next day came and no response I called them and was told it may be another day waited another day and no response I went back there to find out what was going on only to be told becuase it was State Farm the insurance don’t take effect for 72hrs and the bank may be waiting for that. The next day came and I got a call from luxury motors stating that the bank still needs another 3-5 business days for approval. So I went to the dealership to speak with the finance manager who was very rude and spoke down to me as if I wasn’t about to purchase a $28,000 car from them he began to tell me about my credit, and I can take my business elsewhere if I don’t like the process just nasty, I lost when he decided to shift his focus to my lady and started talking crazy to her which I stepped in and told him to talk to me man to man not a woman ! Another finance person stepped in and took us to his office and began to go over the numbers with me which were insane !! So they had the number all this time but told me the bank needed more time, then I was told my monthly payment was $971 a month!! Are you insane !!? He then tried to get me into another vehicle but the monthly price was not worth it. Reynaldo and Benny were nice ppl but shiv and that finance manager in the office to the far right close to the restrooms are shady disrespectful no knowledge of their cars or jobs. I bypassed so many other dealerships for this place and I regret it because they really hurt my credit that I was in the process of rebuilding. I wonder if I dealt with the CRICH guy would my experience have been better? Never again ! While I was there there another customer there that was annoyed and pissed off with them I should have taken that as a sign !! Do better luxury motor club !! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN. They are...
