I will never be returning to this disgraceful establishment. I was a dedicated customer of the Levittown & Massapequa location and was excited they opened in my town. At approximately 6:05pm I walked in and there was no hostess at the front desk. When she finally arrived she asked if I would mind sitting by the bar with my friend. If I wanted to sit by the bar I'd go to the local pub...but I came to dine and there was plenty of available seating. I told her no and then she proceeded to seat us to the right in a deserted location where there was only one table and it was out of sight. A busboy came by and put some type of sauce on the table - for what I don't know, because nothing ever came to dip the sauce in. We were waiting 15 minutes and not one person came to see if we wanted drinks or even acknowledged us. As we were waiting, we noticed a Spanish family of 5 walked in and was seated. And I watched to see if they would be served before us. Sure enough, 15 minutes later after I started clocking - the waitor started taking their orders 1st before anyone even came to acknowledge us in those 30 minutes. I feel this is very racist because I am white, we were only a party of 2 but we had two to-go orders for our friends we were going to deliver to, that had covid. Hopefully Management has camera's to watch what unfolded this evening. My friend and I got up and left and told the hostess up front why we were leaving - since the party after us was able to place their order but no one acknowledged us not even for drinks. Suddenly this hostess became unknowing of the english language - and somehow she did not comprehend what we were talking about anymore and she was incapable of understanding the english language. She was unhelpful and mocked our intelligence because she had just spoken english to us 30 minutes prior. I have never had this experience in any of their other locations...but this ruined it for the entire company. I will not give them business in any of the other locations. After we left, we decided to go to Brasas Peru bistro. Not only was the food amazing there - but the staff on shift were all superior and excellent at their positions in hospitality while the food was beyond delicious. If you didn't want white people to come into your establishment you shouldn't have opened in a white area where the community is predominately Italian. I will also be sharing this information I experienced tonight with Franklin...

The menu is a delightful showcase of the country's culinary heritage. I highly recommend starting with the arepas—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a variety of fillings to choose from. The bandeja paisa, a hearty platter featuring rice, beans, plantains, avocado, chicharrón, and grilled steak, was a standout. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous, making it a perfect dish for sharing. The empanadas were also fantastic, with the perfect balance of crispy crust and savory fillings.
What truly set the experience apart, however, was the exceptional service. Our waitress, Eric, deserves special recognition. Her attentiveness and genuine warmth made our visit unforgettable. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, even ensuring that our water glasses were never empty. Throughout the meal, her cheerful demeanor and attention to detail made us feel like we were her top priority. Eric's professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction were evident in every interaction.
If I could offer one piece of advice to the management, it would be this: Erica absolutely deserves a raise. Her service was impeccable, and she went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was flawless.

Speaking of the meal—the food is nothing short of spectacular. From the tender oxtail stew paired with perfectly cooked rice to the comforting sancocho soup brimming with flavor, every dish radiates authenticity and warmth. The seafood platter was an absolute highlight, featuring juicy shrimp, tender mussels, and clams atop a succulent steak—all topped with a creamy sauce that tied the flavors together beautifully. The side dishes, including fried plantains and crispy fries, were equally delightful, rounding out a truly satisfying feast.
