Monreale Bakery — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

My family loves the bread from this bakery, unfortunately the woman that takes our order is rude and unfriendly. She is very short with her answers. Throws the bread in to the bag demands the money without a smile. I wanted to buy cookies but I felt like I was an inconvenience which is funnny bc I’m there providing them business. After pay, she took the next order from the costumer behind me and she was a totally different person to them, she was smiling and being friendly… dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde… Super unwelcoming. Only reason i went here is to support small businesses.. this place isnt that great. The guy is short when it comes to explain the baked goods. The selection is rather limited. The serving size is 1/4 or a actual serving. All baked goods are cold, not room temperature, not warm but cold. The taste quality isnt that great, kind of a neutral flavor. Great bread and really good cookies and other baked products. It's a small world. Their bread is so good it reminded me of bread my parents used to buy in Knickerbocker, Brooklyn when I was a kid, in the 70's. To make a really long story short, as it turns out, my parents were buying bread from his parents at that very same bakery in Knickerbocker years ago!
