Very expensive for a small cup. They use powder in all their drinks so there is no authentic fruits or matcha in it. I wished it had real, fresh ingredients. We got 4 drinks: a coffee, a mango frap, a cookies and cream frap, and a strawberry frap. The strawberry frap wasn't that impressive. They used strawberry artificial powder, milk, ice, and whipped cream with strawberry syrup on it. It was about 7 dollars and had an artificial taste to it. It wasn't as impressive as I hoped it would be. As I drank more of it, it kind of lost its strawberry flavor. In the end I added milk to it to improve the flavor. Even though it helped the drink but it was still off.
As for the coffee, it was a regular 12oz coffee with half and half. Didn't have much of an aftertaste as the 711 does 1 block west of Cafe Vida. At $3.64 it's an acceptable price for the coffee.
The espresso machine isn't one of the medium to high-end machines. That was the reason I didn't try the cappuccino. Some of the prices are as high as a cafe with a proper professional espresso machine.
Suggestions: there are some excellent desserts like Tres Leches cake and additional south American desserts that would be an improvement over flattened crossiants with chocolate (croffles) cream. Up the game on the food items to match the...
Read moreI want to share my experience at the cafe. First, the positive aspects: we received a warm welcome when we entered and there’s parking in the back.
We ordered iced coffees, a parfait, a panini, and carrot cake. The panini was good, the parfait was okay, but the carrot cake was left uncovered outside, which seemed unhygienic to me.
The coffee was disappointing. I had to ask for mine to be remade, but the quality of the coffee itself was quite weak. The worst part was the rude attitude of the girl taking our orders. She didn't match the welcoming demeanor of the person who greeted us or the friendly individual making the coffee. There seemed to be confusion with our food orders, and it appeared that our ticket was not given to the kitchen, so our food was never prepared. I only noticed this after I left, and when I returned, the person who made the mistake (the girl that took our order) didn't even apologize. There are many areas where this cafe needs improvement.
The menu is also confusing, with numerous options crammed onto the wall. In my opinion, having a smaller, more carefully curated menu would be better. There are some tables with chairs, but not many. I wish them the best in their...
Read moreI am writing to formally express my concern regarding an experience I had at a coffee shop I have frequently visited for the past year. Generally, the service has been excellent, and I have always felt welcomed by the staff. However, during my visit yesterday afternoon, I was approached by the owner’s daughter after sitting with my laptop for about 30 minutes. She inquired if I intended to make a purchase, which was surprising as I have always been a paying customer. She then mentioned that her mother had complained about my 3 visits out of an entire year of visiting that I didn't make a purchase. Additionally, she pointed out that the shop pays for its Wi-Fi despite me never using their Wi-Fi which I politely told her I’ve never used. Then she told me this was not a library and walked away. There are no signs and I was never informed of this policy. Her approach was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I believe that a more respectful and clear communication would have been appropriate. As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to this...
