Garden City South Park — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

The park was an unexpected stop for my daughter and I after several years. We went and well I was very happy to see the sand boxes gone. The new playground looks clean and fun. It's all new. Loved the comfort of the turf in the playgrounds too. I give the 5 stars for the workers who keep it clean. Makes my tax getting used right feel good. I hold back the 1 star because I strongly feel our children need places to practice roller skates and we lack such spaces. Now they don't even want kids to use chalk on ground...

Lovely park with lots of items for kids. Also helpful that there is a Starbucks near by for adults. Swings, sides, basketball, jungle gyms. Lots for multiple ages groups too. The park also has lots of space to play and lots of trees for shade. Also has handicap swings if your looking for it. Would definitely recommend taking for children to this park. Five stars....
