Yoho Japanese Fusion — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

We placed a large take out order for us and our guests. The online ordering system was easy to use and our order was 100% correct. My brother picked up the order and said everyone was very friendly. Plus, when he goes to pay they tell him he can get free edamame or a 20% discount for spending over $50. He took the discount which I don't know if it's a limited time promotion since it's a new place, but what a nice surprise. The beef Negimaki teriyaki and chicken teriyaki were huge portions of meat. They were delicious too. Others ordered hibachi dinners which were smaller potions of meat but also came with a salad, rice, soup, etc. I didn't get to try all that yet. The salads looked fresh and come with ginger dressing. The ginger dressing is not the bright orange kind most places have but I took a taste and it was good too! Prices were generally reasonable even before the discount. We will definitely order again!

Edit: I see with my leftovers that the salad does have the orange ginger dressing which was great, there is also a brown ginger side sauce too that is also good. Maybe...

Out-of-towners picked up takeout for lunch** we got 2 bento boxes, 3 special rolls and the sashimi lunch special. For the Bento boxes - these are easily the best value! We had the teriyaki salmon & teriyaki chicken - with the box you get soup, salad, tempura, small roll, and the meat!

For the sushi rolls we got the Long Island Roll, Volcano Roll and Tornado Roll. Long Island roll was easily our favorite - the tempura shrimp were night and the mango topping was delicious. The Volcano roll was our least favorite - we got it off a suggestion and it was free since we spent over $80 (they have promos going on for a free item based on how much you spend) we wouldn’t get the Volcano roll again. Tornado roll was fresh and a really nice bite. Sashimi lunch box was great - great sashimi and it came with a salad and soup.

Overall I’d go back again and recommend it to others. Lunch is a great value but you can get Bento...

Been coming to this place since they opened back last summer and always loved the freshness and flavor of the food here. Had a little accident happen where my order had gotten switched by mistake. It was late at night, people are tired and mistakes happen sometimes. Tina was proactive to make things right and made sure I had my food. Customer service is some of the best I’ve received in a LONG while and she has life to her. Tina has been wonderful with a smile every time I came here and have brought my girlfriend and family to eat here as well. Unique experience to take out or dine in. Whatever you’re doing, keep it up.
