DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!! How a car goes from 16k to 24k!!!!!Scammers liars dishonest people Rolando, Guary, Luis!!!! Stay away from these ppl!!! Went back to confront the matter and they lied and hid the advertisement of the car and continue to lie⦠On 10/31/2024, I was in the market for a reliable vehicle that could cater to my needs. After conducting thorough research, I came across an advertisement for a Honda CRV 2017 that was advertised at a price of 16k, which fit within my budget. Intrigued, I reached out to the sales guy, Gary, to discuss further. Negotiation and Downpayment During our conversation, Gary suggested that I negotiate a downpayment of 9k towards the purchase of the car. Although I was initially hesitant, Gary reassured me that this amount could go towards the advertised price of 16k for the Honda CRV 2017. I agreed to proceed based on the information I received from Gary. Advertisement and Pricing Discrepancies However, upon further examination, I realized that there was a significant difference in the price advertised and the actual sticker price of the car. The advertisement mentioned a price of 16k, but upon further inspection, I discovered that the not priced as advertised on the website was in fact priced at dealer upcharged 30k. Misleading Information This discrepancy in pricing left both my and my friend, the co-signer, completely confused. The sales guy, Gary, had failed to explicitly mention the price of the Honda CRV 2017. Additionally, the advertisement failed to disclose this critical detail, leaving me unaware of the true cost of the vehicle. Finance Officer's Failure Furthermore, the finance officer involved in the transaction failed to verbally communicate the inflated price of the car. This oversight further clouded our understanding of the financial implications, as we were unable to properly comprehend the number amounts involved without clarification. Agreed Price and Downpayment Despite the lack of transparency, my husband, who was acting on behalf of me, was reassured by Gary that the 9k down payment would be sufficient to cover the advertised price of 16k. This assurance misled us into thinking that the down payment would go towards the original price as advertised on the website and at dealership Safety Concerns Given the circumstances of the car purchase, I decided to take the vehicle to a mechanical engineer for a safety check. With young children, it is essential to ensure that the car is in a safe condition. However, upon inspection, it was discovered that the odometer reading had been pushed back, and there were multiple undocumented accidents and alterations to the car. These discoveries further heightened my concerns about the condition of the vehicle. Conclusion In conclusion, my experience in purchasing the Honda CRV 2017 was marred by misleading information and lack of transparency. The discrepancies between the advertised price of 16k and the upcharged price actual price of 32k, coupled with the failure of the finance officer and the misleading reassurance from the sales guy, left me feeling deceived and worried. I have since taken the car to a mechanical engineer for a thorough safety check, as the safety of my children is of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe experience with Power Motors was horrible. Maybe bc I'm from out of state, but I refuse to give them any sort of compliment . I had a hard time getting them to give a call back when I initially inquired about purchasing a vehicle from them . When I finally got to speak to someone, we got the process going them after they hit my credit and added a hard inquiry on a Saturday. I didn't hear back from them until the following Monday. Only to get news that the car had sold . Then, a week later, it's back for sale again . So I go through the hell of trying to get in touch again . Email phone calls and even direct txt messages. Finally, talk to a salesman, and we get the process going once again . We agree on price , down-payment, and monthly payment. I rent a car and drive 11 hours to NY . We sit there over 6 hours to only get news that the headlight had a fault they couldn't fix , cruise control didn't work . The car wasn't washed or detailed . Smelled like cabin air filter wasn't ever changed. I was told that the car had auto start and didn't realize it wasn't a feature only after we had left and stopped for hmgas on our way back . The car was running when I went to test drive and when we went to leave. Now, on top of all that. All the paperwork I signed and agreed to wasn't at all what was discussed and agreed to over the phone. No other pricing or price change was ever discussed with me, so I'm under the impression im getting everything I wanted and all the headache was paying off, but boy, was I wrong. They had charged me over 2k more than we agreed, which in turn made the monthly payment more than I can afford. I only learned of this after I got an email of all finance and finalized PDF . I have been trying to contact this place to talk with someone for almost a week now . Again, phone calls emails and perso al txt . I talked to 1 person who finally got me with someone in service who was helpful with my lights and maintenance issues . But I was told someone from fiance would call back, but i have yet to get a reply or anything . The sad part about is the fiance company csnr do anything bc i sign a binding contract . Shame on me for not having the finance department go over everything b4 I signed anything . Shame on them for being so shady and unresponsive. I want to keep the car, and I want to be civil about this, but POWER MOTORS should make this right . I feel like I'm being taken advantage of bc it's my first car I have financed, and I'm from out of state . This whole process dealing with a used luxury dealer was the worst experience of my life . I will never recommend this place to anyone . I had left out a few minor details that should have been red flags from jump, but at the end of the day, I'm a grown man and should have done my due diligence b4 I signed anything . They were way too friendly and way too quick to get my money and get me outta there . Again I just want them to make it right othewise the finance company recommended I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience ever I wouldnāt advise anyone to buy from this place, they sold us a Chevy Malibu that was missing the cover for Windshield washer reservoir, under the hood was dirty with bulks of dirt and leaves and was missing a part. We reported all the problems of the vehicle they took it back to fix it when they sent it back it was worst at that point the brakes was dragging and making a scratching noise while jumping forward we called to report the issue with proof we took pictures of the vehicle saying service ESC, the fuel bars dropped down saying the gas was low when the tank was half filled it also said Service Power Steering, Drive with Care. They then sent us to one of the shops they do business with thatās located at 134-10 Atlantic avenue Jamaica NY 11419 they kept the car for a few days and never fixed anything yet again gave us back the car while on the highway the car started doing the same thing I was scared for my life I called to tell them I just received the car exactly 30 minutes ago and itās doing the same thing yet again the guy on the phone told me they canāt consider the photos I just sent because I parked on the side to send them which means the car is not moving so itās not accurate m. Iām suppose to be driving the car and taking the photos what kind of person advices someone to be using their phone while driving and the car isnāt working properly. I also told him I donāt feel safe driving the car he said nothing is wrong with the car I can drive it they donāt care about people lives at all. I had to bring back the car and insisted one of their works drive it while Iām in it as soon as we got out the shop parking lot the car started to do all what I said it was doing the guy stated I should of never been driving this car because anything could happen God that was guiding you on the road you didnāt end up in an accident when we went back to the shop their guy explained that what I complained about was indeed true. It took me insisting someone drive it for them to actually take My family life and mines seriously. They then took the car for approximately 3 weeks they told us the car was missing a part and some part of the car wasnāt giving the signal its suppose to, to allow the whole vehicle to function properly when the car was returned stuff I left in the car was stolen and they didnāt have no decency to even say sorry instead they gave wrong information over they phone saying they was going to refund the items stolen to then have me come down to the store to give the worst customer service ever and all this happen in the first month of purchasing the car. We wanted to return the car but they didnāt want to take it back we had to seek legal advice. My Good people save yāall self from that experience and go anywhere else but Power Motors NYC (Queens) because I would honestly say they are scammers on...
