The masseuse did not listen to me when I told her to go softer. She kept hurting me over and over and over again. I felt like I was being tortured and now the next day my body is in so much more aches and pains. She also had a long nail that kept sticking and scratching me during the massage. I left there feeling agitated instead of relaxed. I wish I never came here and wasted my money because I have bruises on my back from her digging her elbows into my skin. I understand some massages can hurt but if someone is telling you it’s too much pressure or please go softer- you should listen. She would listen for a few seconds and go right back to hurting me again. Please have your masseuses cut their nails and train them to listen to your customers. Top Notch Spa name does fit, at least for the 90 deep tissue massage that I asked for 👌🏾. I've receiving massages throughout this continent and others since 2012 and this is my first time getting one in NY since I left in 2009. Yeah I'm super late but it was it worth it 💆🏾‍♂️. My masseuse was firm and confident in her sequence, and that how I prefer it. She communicated and assured everything is going well at the beginning part. Near the end I felt their standards is competing well with the legit sessions of the Singaporeans, thais and Emiratis that I've encountered. I'll keep TNS📍 in mind during my next visit for sure. The price was reasonable but the service left a lot to be desired. I don't like to complain and rarely post comments about businesses I visit. But I felt compelled to write this post. I went in for a 60 minute massage the attendant that was giving me a massage was talking to the attendant in the next massage booth almost the whole time of my massage. I found it difficult to settle down and relax. When I asked her to apply more preasure she ignored me. I have had many massage treatments and in the past if I am enjoying the the massage I would usually ask for an extention of time and ad 15 or 30 min on to my original time.
