Larkfield Review Our wedding at Larkfield was truly everything that we could've hoped it to be. I could go on and on about our special day from Thursday, 6/24, but I’ll try to keep it brief here and break down each part of the review. Ceremony (outside, in garden area): Our ceremony was perfect outdoors, and we lucked out with a beautiful and slightly cool summer day, and only getting cooler as the ceremony started at 5:30. The pictures are gorgeous with the backdrop of all of the trees surrounding the bride and groom, and we were nicely in the shade so we got some great photos of us under the little garden setup.

Just a heads up, if you do it when the sun is beginning to set, half of your seats/guests might be in the sun, while the others are in the shade! Tell those in the half with the sun to bring their sunglasses! Cocktail hour: The cocktail hour food is incredible, and you honestly get more food than you could ever possibly eat!

Sadly our ceremony ran about 10-minutes over the 30min time slot, and so we only ended up getting about 45-minutes worth of our cocktail hour. Didn’t get a chance to try all of the food, but our guests said it was great! If we could go back, we wish we could’ve had the full 1-hour cocktail hour, and just ate into 10-15 min of the reception time. Reception: all of our guests can not stop talking about 2 things from our reception… 1) the food was incredible. Even though they were stuffed from cocktail hour and maybe only picked through their salad and pasta dishes — the main entrees were delicious and everybody enjoyed it. And 2) getting Frankie from Larkfield Music Group as your DJ is a MUST. He was so great on the mic, getting people up on the dance floor, hyping everybody up, and keeping people dancing the night away. We had a large crowd of different ages from 15 to 90, and Frankie played the perfect mix of songs across all the decades so that everybody had something to groove to. Frankie also took the time to chat with the bride and groom to get to know them before and during the wedding, helped things run smoothly, and was pivotal to a great reception! The staff: I cannot say enough about how incredible the staff were. Our Maitre’D was Jose, and he was always on top of things, knew where things were going to be, when they were going to happen, but never got in the way. He would disappear during photoshoots or when we were talking with family, and appear just in the nick of time to pull us for something private, or to help set up the next part of our schedule. Our two bridal attendants Maria and Flora were also incredible, not only helping to make sure that everybody was doing okay (grabbing people water, asking if anybody needed tissues, a beer, etc.), but also to make sure that my bride always had the perfect “look” in her dress. Before a photo shoot, they’d help carry her dress so it didn’t drag on the floor, or help set the dress to make it look nice and flowy for a picture. They were always on top of their game and it’s the little things that really help make a difference. All in all, it was the perfect wedding that we could have hoped, even after having our initial date from 2020 be postponed until this date in 2021.

Beautiful venue. Great customer service. My only suggestion would be to have a max of 2 events per day. Food is sooooo good . Steak was so juicy.

Words cannot begin to describe the PHENOMENAL experience my husband and I had with Larkfield. From the beginning of 2019 when we originally booked our 2020 date, through 3 postponements, a micro wedding, and finally our dream wedding, Larkfield was truly nothing short of AMAZING. I owe special acknowledgment to Michael from Larkfield. Michael is a classy, professional, friendly, and AWESOME individual who made every single part of my wedding planning, as well as BOTH weddings we had there, absolutely perfect. Michael is so easy to work with, very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with, a more beautiful venue to get married at, or a day any better than my wedding day (x2)! The food was outrageous; my guests have not stopped raving about it. The Viennese was a must have, with every dessert you could imagine. The added touches of a cigar roller, amongst other things, truly put the cherry on top!

The entire Larkfield staff was wonderful the day of; everyone was so kind and helpful. Special thanks to Bridal Attendant, Philipe, who was my best friend the entire day (both weddings), I’m obsessed with him, truly!

**The Larkfield Music Group: Owner and MC, THE MAN WHO DOES IT ALL, FRANKIE - I could write a novel about this guy. The truest gem of all gems! DJ Yiannis + the saxophonist + the pianist and singer + the lighting + the sparklers + the monograms on the mirrors - NO WORDS, simply perfection! Frankie truly put together the absolutely perfect package with the perfect team for our special day! Larkfield Music Group is the ONLY way to go!! Let me say that louder for the those in the back of the room to hear: LARKFIELD MUSIC GROUP IS THE ONLY, ONLY, ONLY, WAY TO GO!!!!!!!! Frankie is a true gentleman, one of the greatest people I’ve ever met in my life. He will forever hold a place in mine and my husbands hearts! Frank is a standup guy who is so so so good at what he does, while making you feel like you are his family the entire time. I can not express how wonderful this man is, both professionally and personally. We are inviting him to our thanksgiving dinner, (and hoping he brings Philipe too lol)!

There is no doubt in my mind that multiple couples from my wedding will be booking their future weddings at Larkfield because it was just a dream come true - and all our guests felt the same experience we did! My husband and I can absolutely not wait to attend a wedding there to experience it from the other side!

Look no further in your search for the perfect wedding venue on Long Island, if you are reading this review, you have found the right place! Book with Michael at the Larkfield and Frankie at Larkfield Music...

We could have not been happier how well Larkfield helped us host our wedding! First off, everything they promised us we were given including offering our guests shots after the pasta course, offering seconds for each guest of their entrees (many guests were able to try two entrees) and everything was set up exactly how we requested! We also won an Instagram contest and they did stay true to their word and offered us the AV package for no addition cost. They also worked with us on pricing and did not surprise us in the end with unexpected fees!

Fast-forward to the wedding day, we stepped out of our limo and we were already blown away! Our Maître d', Marie and our Bridal Attendant Felipe were right there helping us when we exited the limo and brought us right up to the bridal suite. Up there they had all of the food and alcohol we were promised. When we were taking photos in the courtyard, Felipe was always there with us making sure we always had a cold drink and that we didn’t stress when things got a bit hectic taking photos. Throughout the night, we had Felipe, Marie and our other bridal attendant always checking in with us and they also made sure our parents and grandparents were enjoying the wedding.

When we went out for our night shots, Marie was great on making sure we were only out there for a short period of time and she was also a lot of fun to be around! She made jokes and good conversation with us and our photographers! Marie also was nice enough to ask if we wanted to view the Viennese hour setup before they opened the room to the guests, but we told her we trusted how they set it up. Later in the night we walked in and everything was perfect! At the end of the night, everything was nicely packed up for us and the even gave us all of our entrees wrapped up. They offered to keep everything overnight, but we ended up taking our entrée’s and eating them at the hotel that night.

Overall, Larkfield exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier with the service they have provided! I would highly recommend them for any wedding and we hope our friends get married here so we can attend a...
