Foods to die for with endless choices and styles with drinks and apps to die for btw the place is formerly a pizza hut resturaunt built in the 70s then converted to a chinese resturaunt sometime in the near future probably in the 90s according to a Newsday article in the store. When you first walk in expect a vestibule then afterwards a tank full of giant adorable fishies that swims and looks at you when you visit some do it not all. There are no more booths or buffett as they were all demolished when the place was being remodeled. Be aware theres only ONE entrance exit as the takeout and 2nd enterance from pizza hut has been closed off for privacy reasons. The Waitress we had was nice and was like family. Very family oreinted place too even though theres the typical spoiled nasty kids in the area but never had a problem with this anyways. Food is awesome the rice was to die for all the chicken was great the eggrolls was too greasy but i loved nibbling them anyway. Also the BEST ice cream in the universe just be careful when ordering pistachio it has nuts and the vanilla has little icicles from the freezer in the kitchen. Kitchen was old and was kept the same when pizza hut was there the orginal fire alarm bell was still there too and the unknown mouldings the only change was the celings with repainting and new lighting furniture and possibly the carpets and the absolutely stunning white walls while keeping the pizza hut vibes even though the resturaunts showing its age. Chinese music is relaxing and soothing. the soups sucked but what u gonna do bout it! Place needs a full remodel but i love the pizza hut styled interior AVOID the breathmints unless you want a bad taste and a sour stomach. Restrooms were ok but needs a big facelift tiles on the floors and walls are falling apart and breaking. I really loved how they kept the pizza pete signs on the restroom door as i was shocked to see pizza hut has had a mascot in its heyday. Wished i saw it in its heyday but it dosent matter as long as foods good ill be going back. Place can get stuffy in the winter so keep the coats behind the seats and they have air conditioning in the summer. Real big eatery too with delivery takeout and more. They keep their christmas decorations up until chinese new yrs for some reason the owner told us bout it and other cool things. They also have a good luck cat and good ol siddie!!!!! The Owner and their employers are such sweethearts and lovable the guy was a gentlemen as well to my mom i couldnt have asked for such quality and professionalism in a global resturaunt! Basically all the pizza hut stuff dissappeared yrs ago if your wondering the only thing is pizza pete signs! The place dont offer soda anymoređ˘ guess it was too expensive! Bet it ran great as pizza hut and this. Hope this place stays for yrs to come and god bless this little eatery being here! As stated ill be coming back but till i die lol. In closing best eatery in the commack east northport area if you want an old school dine in service go to precious the best in town. A neighbor recommended it to us and loved this joint ever since. I LOVE PRECIOUS CHINESE!!!!!! AND SO SHOULD YOU! and most importantly tell friends and family to visit here the more people will not dissapoint them i recommend the chicken dishes its so good. A favorite for many yrs since the joints so good ya gotta go to precious! Trust me youll love this place for...
Read moreWent here tonight with my wife and parents on the recommendation of a Facebook group. It was very busy place when we got there, but we got a table pretty quick. We received the typical Chinese noodle and Chinese tea pretty quickly along with our menus. It was over 20 minutes before our waitress took our orders which we thought was a long time to wait considering only 12-15 tables in the restaurant. My wife wanted plain fried rice, the waitress did not understand or did not want to serve her plain fried rice. We are not sure. The food was pretty good. Our only complaint was the wontons were very small in our wonton soup. The reason why only 2 stars was the attitude of our waitress. She was very busy but her attitude showed she hated her job. My wife called her over to the table for something (I dont remember why..but it doesnât matter) the waitress commented is there anything else because Iâm very busy and I donât want to come back to your table again. My tip is usually more than double the tax. I actually went one dollar under the tax. If you donât like your job, quit, donât take it out on your customers.
Also I didnât see any handicapped parking. ...
Read moreThis place was so Bad...From beginning to end. The table fried noodles that you dip into ducksauce was dripping with oil. The eggdrop soup was salty. My wonton soup had a random piece of chicken floating in it. The waiter was this older man who was incredible Rude and moody. We ordered 2 appetizers, pork dumplings and spareribs. The dumplings were crispy on one side and cold and uncooked on the other side. The ribs were greasy and had no flavor. My sesame chicken was disgusting. Covered in this goop of gross orange glaze. It was so bad i wouldnt feed it to my dog. My husbands entre' was spicy vegetables and chicken and that was also not good. Every possible thing we ate was disappointing. From the food to the impersonable waiter with the attitude. We are never going back. Both my husband and i had stomach aches when we went home too !! I dont know how people gave it good reviews !!!! Im assuming the ones who gave this place good reviews arent used to good food because this place was horrible. Save yourself the trip and order chinese...
