So my girlfriend went in to order a chicken burrito and a separate burrito which was steak and shrimp and normally they're okay but for some reason lately they've been getting worse and worse and I realized why because the owner does not stay there anymore and they have kids running the place who don't care because I called up after we had some and spit it out because the food was disgusting (both burritos) me and my son had to spit it out it tasted like the chicken and steak was sitting on the grill for a week , So Bad. So I called back and asked to speak to the manager and both were not there so the kid on duty said he'll take my number and have them call me back. So somebody call me back who was in charge and said he can only give me 50% discount next time I come in which was totally ridiculous. I said never mind and I will never come back there again and that's why I'm writing this review because it was disgusting and these kids don't care about customer satisfaction or service and that's what happens when the owner's not there so I got in my car and went down the block to Fat Boy Burrito and I must tell you it was incredible and that place is going to be my go-to place from now on . They even gave me a free drink while I was waiting which was so nice. It's a shame that most places don't know how to treat customers and to keep them coming back but I suspect that Three Amigos won't be in business too much longer because the kids their do not care because they are...
Read moreReally unhappy with how Three Amigos is operating during Covid 19. Prior to I was a regular customer but so disappointed they are not following social distancing rules. They do not offer curbside but rather advised that I should call up to make sure my food was ready when I go there. Upon my arrival I could see several people inside the restaurant waiting for their food, some with masks, some without. There were too many people to be following the six-feet social distancing rule. This experience was at the start of the covid outbreak so I gave it a several weeks and then tried again, hoping they would catch on and make some improvements. I called in my order and found they still did not offer curbside pick-up. When they told me the process was essentially the same I shared with the young girl my experience the last time and asked why they weren’t following the social distancing rules. She responded by telling me they were allowing their customers into the restaurant. When I mentioned again about the social distance rules of keeping 6 feet apart she hung on me! Clearly these people just don’t care. I then called Aunt Chilladas in Northport who had my food ready in 10 minutes and delivered it curbside so thanks for that because now I’ve got a new favorite...
Read moreThe place used to be like religion to me, say back in 2003/2003. The freshest affordable Mex there was around.
Unfortunately, the bloom is now off the rose. IMHO, they've become hidebound and are "suffering" from their own success. Their reputation simply does not match the quality and affordability of the offerings now.
I took my wife and daughter there last night and was surprised how ordinary, overcooked, greasy and old tasting and un-subtle things were.
How long do you guys hold stuff on the steam table?
The beef fajita was tough as can be, the grease was oozing out of my daughters beef quesidilla and my burrito had about as much taste as a bag full of crumbled rice cakes with chicken fat on it. To be fair, the beans were really good.
And did I mention needlessly expensive?
On top of having a stare down with a gentleman behind the counter b/c the Sprite syrup AND the CO2 had run out (weird, like he took it personal), an ordinary meal for three came to $50!!
The last straw (do you get the feeling I'll never be back?) was when the staff started liberally spraying down the place with Windex all around us while we were still eating.
Sorry guys, you lost a 10+ year customer with 1 meal in 1 night.
Sad...
