Maddaloni Jewelers — Attraction in Town of Huntington

I went to this jewler because they are Tag Heuer dealer and my Tag wj1117-0 needed 2 links to fit me (this watch has a dull stainless bezel and band is designed having one polished stainless then one dull stainless link etc....), they told me that I needed to leave my watch because they needed to order the links in for me @ $125 installed, at that time I had no objection. We were also talking about fully polishing the watch, after a long conversation I asked to please fully polish the whole watch for me. The salesperson did tell me that that wasn't the original design of the watch but it was my watch and I he could do what I wanted for $180, he also told me my whole watch would look like a mirror ( exactly what I wanted). When I picked my watch up..... WOW was I surprised because my watch was not done the way I wanted, but in fact the original way that it was supposed to be. I have been going to this jeweler of the last 6 years to have my Tag Hauer battery replaced and watch cleaned up ($90 each time) as they are an authorized dealer. Recently, my watch stopped and I brought it in for a new battery. I was told that it was not the battery and I needed to have the watch repaired at an estimated cost of $395. While I was slightly shocked at the cost of repairs, I realize it is not a cheap watch. After initially telling Marcos to move forward with the repair, I changed my mind. I brought the watch (only under warranty for 2 years btw) to a local place in Northport. For $10 they replaced the battery and it has been working ever since. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN OR REFER ANYONE HERE! They've apparently been ripping me off (my bad) and felt fine about taking my money for a repair that was not needed. What a let down! In the past 3 years my family has spent thousands in your store. We have had 3 custom diamond pieces made and so when 1 broke we knew it wouldn't be a problem to bring it in and have it fixed. I am astonished that you thought charging $100 for the fix was appropriate. As a military family, we live out of state and you then wanted to charge an extra $30 to send it back to back to us. You had no problem covering shipping when we first bought it. Whether it is a design flaw or an honest mistake by using the wrong chain, I would have expected better customer service to long time customers. I have never heard of a gold necklace breaking a gold pendant but you insisted it was obviously our fault.
