I purchased NaturesPlus Collagen Peptides (294g) and once I opened the container, I IMMEDIATLEY noticed that the container was HALF full. I looked around the container to find a number to call and complain, unfortunately, I did not find any. However, I did read a small EXCUSE that NaturesPlus TRIES to use and justify their DECEPTIVE practice. They ALLEGE, "This product is sold in weight ,not volume, therefore settling of content may occur during shipping and handling."

Their EXCUSE make absolutely no sense! Somehow, they want you to believe that the collagen peptides somehow mysteriously disappears and shrinks the content to half the size of the container. They KNOW that they are placing half of the content in the container, however they INETENTIONALLY use a bigger container in order to DECEIVE the byer into believing that he/she is receiving more, when they are not!

NaturesPlus know that if they put this product in it's proper SMALL container, NO ONE would buy it or pay that amount for HALF the product. Instead they DECEIVE the consumer into believing they are receiving more, when they are receiving FAR LESS!

Unfortunately, we do not have a government that prosecutes these deceptive companies and reward the consumer for their pain, suffering and cost. Instead they may impose a small monetary fine, take the money for their cost and the consumer may receive pennies on the dollar or nothing at all. Hence is why I'm writing this review to...

I've been drinking PIRU-TEIN for years and have passed on the "good news' of the vitamins and amino acids but wanting to stop all sugars, I JUST noticed that fructose is it's SECOND ingredient, I was shocked and disheartened. How can they put so many good things in a drink then basically negate the good with SUGAR. SUGAR is poison. I called the company and they told me they DO sell it without the fructose but I've never noticed that on the webpage I use. So BE CAREFUL. If you don't want sugar, make sure to order it...

I've used Spiru-tein protein powder/ meal replacement for more than 25 years. I've tried others which have come and gone but this one's been solid for decades. I like that just one scoop contains everything you need and it mixes into a drink that has some consistency and fills you up instead of being the consistency of water like some others.
