This was my go to stop for a while and I took a break, but I can see why I did. Patrick usually does my nails, but today it was horrible. I’m not sure what happened but he had a major attitude with me. I’m not sure if it was getting late and he wanted to leave or what, but that’s his problem after I called and asked if I can reschedule my appointment for 6:30 and he said yes. He’s a nail tech so he should know that full sets take some time and effort. I asked for an almond shape and they’re all uneven. I asked for French and as he was painting it was so bad, I usually don’t like to critique peoples work and complain but I couldn’t bite my tongue anymore. He was so rude to me when I apologized and told him I’m sorry I don’t like it in the most polite way. He said an almond shape wouldn’t look good with French tips which is a lie because he’s literally done it before on me, but he just didn’t want to today cause he wanted to leave asap. Anyways, after this nasty attitude I asked for just top coat on the powder acrylic which looks horrible, but it is what it is. I’m never going back there again and I know see why I stopped going...
Read moreI may be old school but the saying “the customer is right” still applies in certain situations. This is the second time I’m here and I’m confident it’s my last. The first experience after spending $135 for tips and a pedicure, 4 days in and 2 nails pop off. These were initially installed as press ons fir some reason. I decided to give it another shot and and do minimal designs. I ended up having to redo all the nails and the application again was not up to par. For the amount of money, I should receive what I ask for or nails worth my time. If you’re looking for innovative designs, this place is good but in my opinion, not worth it.
I’m literally in the salon writing this! Attitudes R US and not willing to work with what the customer wants or envisions. And why in the world is my nail several centimeters away from my nail bed. When have you ever seen a nail like this?
Again- not worth the money or the headache. Still looking for a place in Suffolk county. Any suggestions...
Read moreI went to P&j nails for the first time yesterday to get my wedding nails done and i had a women prep my nails who also was able to fit in a last minute pedicure , she was extremely detail oriented and shaped my tips to perfection, when she was done i had Patrick doing the designs on my nails and i have to say the took their time in making sure my nails were perfect, the attention to detail was well worth the wait. not to mention that from the minute i walked in they did not stop working and making sure every person was getting taken care of. Out of all the nail salons in the area they have to be the most hard working and best technicians I’ve ever had my nails done with and i have nothing but positive things to say. Especially with how busy and non stop walk ins they did an amazing job i will 100% be going their for my nails moving...
