North Creek Health Center — Local services in Town of Johnsburg

While on vacation in ADK ( we are from Rochester NY area) my 3 year old grandson was bitten by something that made his forehead swell to the bridge of his nose. I walked in to the office at 4:38 PM the office was closing at 5 PM and the attendant told me that they weren't an Urgent Care and I told her it said they were on google and she said they were trying to correct that. She said she would see what she could do and another lady came out and explained same thing...but that the doctor was busy w other patients, now mind you the waiting room was completely empty!!!! And she stated we are closing soon!!! I said that is no reason to turn away a 3 year old, she tried to explain that Warrensburg was only 17 miles down the road and I explained I'm not from this area which has very spotty reception cell service and internet ...I was so upset and mad at this point that I picked up my 3 year old grandson and said to the lady "you should be ashamed of yourself" and left. These people are certainly only in the business to make money and certain only an hourly position and not a career of caring for sick kids...when she could see I was clearly very concerned for my 3 year...

This clinic is always helpful with appointments or any medical concerns or questions. The front end ladies are all so helpful and friendly. Dr. Donnelly is awesome! I recommend him for anyone needing a primary...
