We went today for the first time. Had it marked on our calendars for months. We were there around 12:30 and all the peach cider or specialty drink that was there was already sold out. That tent did have other jellies and dried candies...some fruits and veggies. There was that vendor and two others that sold anything related to peaches. Not one peach cobbler anywhere to be found. The whole place was a carnival with many vendors selling jewelry, candles, and air fresheners. We saw the vendor (1 of 3) that had the peach shortcake but it didn't look great. Canned peaches. I'd have rather have fresh peaches. So we went up to another tent that had a lot of fresh produce. That was my highlight. Huge Zucchini for $1, peaches (got home and they tasted tart so I'll bake them) for okay prices, large eggplants for $2, big Poblano peppers for .50; five stars for that vendor. There were a lot of people smoking cigarettes, so that was a bummer to walk through. This just wasn't what we were expecting. I'm not quite sure why it's called a Peach Festival. It should just be called Lewistons September Festival. It's simply a hodgepodge of things put together. We stayed for under an hour. Our bar may have just...
Read moreI was looking forward to going this year 2025 as im at the canada side anyways but so glad I read all the bad reviews its remarkable how the orginizers have to remind everyone that it is a charity event so that we can feel guilty about the lack of having a good experience and quality of the event. Ha ha and i always forget the USA doesnt give a crap about smoking at public events especially around children and food!!! Glad I read the reviews.....come over to Niagara On The Lake Folks Aug 8,9 way way better!!! I had to press a one star because you cant comment unless you press one, that has nothing to do with all the bad reviews and your condescending remarks that people should forgive everything cause its a charity, I commend you on your charity activity thats wonderful, but I couldnt walk around there with open smoking in...
Read moreCame from cattaragus county, was worth the trip! Peachfest is fun! Right when you get there, the peach tent is right up front, tons of peaches, fresh baked goods, veggies, and other fruits. There are food vendors, music, game tents, rides for kids, face painting, vendors selling all types of products(some you need and others not so much 😂) overall a great and fun time for the family! Parking is always free, there is a free shuttle, and we went on a nice cool day 60° which was awesome! Gave you that much needed Fall feel. I wish I had more money and more time lol 😂 I would love to have tried some of the delicious peach desserts, I know making pies and desserts is a art form..but $28 a pie is a bit steep for my wallet.. I opted out of the expensive 🥧 and got some fresh peaches for $5. Will definitely return...
