I absolutely love Mediterranean food! This is all I wanted for my birthday this year and we went for dinner tonight and let me tell you it was absolutely delicious! Since it's a special birthday treat for me we ordered a lot of food I got the tabouli salad, stuffed grape leaves, and their Falafel platter, my son got the chicken gyro platter and my husband got the lamb gyro platter and onion rings which by the way he said is one of the best onion rings he's had because they are fresh and in-house made. The grape leaves are to die for and the falafels were probably the best I've ever had. Everything was so incredibly fresh tasting and delicious. That hummus was probably the best hummus I have ever had. Even the pita bread was Fluffy and soft and fresh. My ten-year-old downed his chicken gyro and made a big taco out of his pita. My husband said that lamb was very tasty and he really enjoyed his meal too. And of course we had to take some baklava home with us which I haven't tried yet because I'm so full but it looks super yummy. I feel bad I didn't take any pictures. Oh and let me tell you about the staff, the people there were so unbelievably nice and welcoming, we sat in the booth near the window and she made sure that everybody was happy and had everything they needed. They had a lot of people picking up orders and they were very pleasant to everyone that came in. The place is a little small and there's not a lot of places to sit to actually have an sit down dinner but all in all it was a awesome experience and I really cannot wait to go back I'll be thinking about that Falafel for a long time after this and it's not going to take another birthday to go back that's for sure. And to the owner that told me I looked 18.... you must be psychic LOL...

They use this spit cooking process with the meat rotating while a single heating element cooks the meat. However the pre-slice the protien and keep it on a steamtable that overcooked my gyro meat. The chicken was like jerky super overcooked and just lousy tasting and texture. Also the way it was rolled was just sloppy so all of the food would fall out the pita. It didn't help that the cook only sliced it about halfway so i couldn't rip it without everything falling out. I'm a chef so I might just be particular but in Brooklyn (my fav gyro spot ever) they do pickled veggies like onion, cabbage and cucumber but it's also wrapped in wax paper then wrapped again in foil so it's easier to hold and keeps the ingredients from falling out. For almost 20 bucks I guess I just expected better. Maybe it was just a bad day with the b-squad but I gave them 2 stars for that reasoning. I was in a rush so I couldn't ask for another one and the owner didn't appear to speak great english so I wasn't really interested in arguing with them for...
