AR Workshop Port Washington — Attraction in Town of North Hempstead

This is such a great spot in Port Washington! They have so many fool-proof projects (including wedding decor) that can be personalized to match your style, colors, and information/name!

Being able to build part of your project and then paint/stencil it with the designs and colors you choose really helps add to the experience! I loved working with all the power tools - and the instructors were extremely helpful in making sure everyone felt comfortable using them (but were also willing to take care of those tasks for people who didn’t feel comfortable).

I went once with a group of friends, and it was such a great alternative to ‘Paint Nite’ or a typical ‘girls’ night in’. We brought a few bottles of wine, learned how to do a bit of woodworking, and all went home with unique projects that we ACTUALLY wanted to display in our homes! I’ve also gone on my own before - my husband was working and I just really wanted to get out of the house - I thought it might be strange not going with a group, but everyone was so welcoming! I even made a few new friends with some of the other people from the area who were attending that workshop! It’s definitely my new ‘spot’ and I can’t wait to go...

I walked in alittle over a week ago to inquire about making a birthday gift sign for a co worker. Tara was very welcoming and assisted me with booking the appropriate class so that I may create the sign that I really wanted. She also gave me her personal advice and recommendations, which were very helpful. I went in this evening for my class where Diana and Caroline greeted me as soon as I walked in. Diana came over, helped me get settled, and explained what we were going to do. She was with me every single step of the way as I created my sign. Today my daughter and I were Tara’s students to create blankets. There we met an exceptionally lovely lady, also, creating a blanket. We had such a wonderful three hours. Tara is a fantastic teacher, sweet, patient and very helpful. It was so much fun. As I gaze upon my blanket, I have a wonderful memory, a delicious blanket and a really fun experience.
