Jeanne Rimsky Theater - Landmark on Main Street — Attraction in Town of North Hempstead

Great small theatre with quality sound system. Nice atmosphere and kind staff, except one who managed to be rude to me twice in the brief time it to look at my tickets.

He made a snide comment about how I hadn’t zoomed in on the ticket PDF and then when I asked for a program he said “they’ll give you one upstairs but if you ABSOLUTELY NEED ONE in the next 30 seconds, here you go.” Totally unnecessary, when that should’ve been an interaction that made my family feel welcomed to the theatre!

I later learned this guy was the Executive Director of the theater....

I was at the Landmark Friday night for Anders Osborn and Jackie Green. I was really looking forward to the concert. My daughter and I had GA seats and were close to the stage. It was an all acoustic concert which is a special experience to really hear the musicians. Sadly, the crowd were rude the entire show. Very nice energetic local venue residing in a repurposed vintage school building. The theater has undergone several renovations and in its current state is quite nice. We have been here for many shows and presentations. It has a wonderful hometown feeling. As a professional photographer I have had the pleasure to work here with performers on two occasions on a pro bono basis. It’s nice to give back to...
