Hunter Essentials Inc — Attraction in Town of North Hempstead

My first experience at this store was very positive. I want to say that these guys at Hunter Essentials are some of the friendliest people in the industry. Whether Bobby, Erik, or Bruce (the owner), I was treated like a friend. From day one, I was given a good dose of education, humor, and of course, excellent customer service. These guys are extremely compassionate and considerate to my wants and needs, all while busting each other’s chops like old married couples. Being at the store, I was never rushed or pushed into buying anything. All my questions were answered. Pricing on guns are fair. They try to do as much to help your budget as possible while maintaining MAP pricing regulations. When it comes to installs and transfer fees, they really go above and beyond. Or should I say below and more than fair. I love this store and have made several purchases. I will continue to do so. Thank you Bruce, Erik and Bobby....

I've been a customer of Bruce, the owner, for approximately 8 yrs. He's always been helpful answering the questions I've had about different guns, mods, etc. Until this year it was a relatively small shop where you would go in and do what you wanted to do or get what you wanted to get. Around middle of this year its grown approx. triple in size so you have more space to walk, time to browse ..... and be tempted to buy more things;) Initially, in the beginning, I first came here because of its proximity to my home but I continued coming here because of the service I've gotten. If Bruce is with a customer it is never that long a wait before he gets to you. The atmosphere of the shop is a little more relaxing unlike some other shops where you feel rushed and stressed to make a quick decision. If you know beforehand, like a day, I'd suggest you call to find out whether he will be in on the day and time you...

Great store. If you're new to firearms and have questions or an avid shooter Hunters Essentials should be your go to shop. Bruce has the cheapest prices from all the other shops in Nassau. He is less than 10 minutes to Nassau PLB. His store is small but it is filled with anything you need! And if he doesn't have it, he can order it! Bruce runs the shop on his own so you only deal with him and only him. So if you become a repeat customer expect to be treated like a friend cause you will develop that kind of relationship. He has everything from rifles to pistols along with their parts! He is also a gunsmith and can work and customize your firearms! His store is small but packed with great stuff. He is sometimes hard to reach but it's cause he works alone and is sometimes busy with a customer. So call before...
