CTown Supermarkets — Attraction in Town of Ossining

Supermarket is very organized. However overly priced items, and the sales they have never match the system when the items are scanned. Employees and managers don’t know what sales or promotions they have either. Yes I know it’s a lot to know however they should be aware of what they have and don’t have.

Another thing, If you have WIC DONOT! go to this supermarket. Literally nothing on your WIC approved list is approved here “according to their system” I have yet to find which loaf of bread is approved here and oatmeal.. the original special k apparently is only EBT although when scanned on the app for WIC it’s approved.. it doesn’t end here, I was in the supermarket for over an hr at the register bc I was told my card doesn’t work, however it is their computers that do not work with the WIC card and large purchases. We moved from one register to the next, to then have to scan every item individually so that it can go thru. The young lady who helped was very patient, nevertheless confirmed this happened with a previous client as well after informing me my card didn’t work.. odd to have happened to more than one person but yet the clients are the ones to blame for their system glitching.

This supermarket needs to not only revamp their system, but also prep a training for both employees...

Well managed. Nothing is left to go even slightly bad. I shop here daily . I need very fresh food daily and I am never disappointed. I need never worry. I used to have to shop around as some stores were good in some areas and not as good in others but at C-Town every area is as good as every other area. All of the staff is consistently accurate and kind. I have owned many businesses and realize how it is possible to be good in most areas and slightly deficient in others but there all areas are equally efficient and clean and it is obvious that every single department is as clean as every other area. I could go on but you get the message. I have no stake in this store but care for this store...

CTown han been updating their refrigerated fruit and produce displays and the meat counters. The store is looking great and the produce more appetizing.

I have been shopping at CTown off and on for over 20 years. I have seen them seamlessly adopt to customer demand and becoming supportive of the all important Certified Organic | no GMO movement.

A wonderful variety of the freshest local and imported vegetables, legumes, and fruit.

They also have a very good deli, with a salad bar and hot foods & soups prepared daily. My favorite is their brisket and cabbage... I highly recommend it.
