Hiked peninsula beach on hot summer weekend in June. Nice water views from both sides of the walk: Long Island Sound and inner bay. Beach is quite narrow but bay waters were very calm and a few people were enjoying rental kayaks, otherwise it was relatively empty which is not surprising given residential / CSHL restrictions on its usage. Honestly, I would rather enjoy mid fall walk to this beach.
