Extra Space Storage — Attraction in Town of Oyster Bay

This storage unit has caused way over 2k damage in stored items. First mice have chewed,ruined and peed and pooped all over, then the supposed temperature control room got way over in the 88+ degrees, causing damage to multiple furniture, paints,etc. i understand it was a hot day but why wasn’t it on?! Even dye exploded, which can withstand hot weather. Avoid this storage place at all costs , it caused us way more damage. The fact there’s mice feces and pee everywhere on our items and unable to clean some of it, we took pictures of everything, a lie they keep telling us it’s pest controlled . They force 5 star reviews btw when you first join, don’t listen to it. It’s like a car dealership We will be moving back to our old storage unit, whom we just moved out for a bigger one but clearly safety to our items is way...

Updated: Daquan, Jackie , Stacey and Jenna made the experience so easy and explained everything very well. Not only were they so professional and efficient; but extremely friendly. They make you feel as if you are family. Definitely a great place to rent storage space. This place will make you feel safe to rent from as well. The security system is excellent. The carts are always available and unlocked unlike other storage places which require a license, signing out the cart during business hours and always locked up. Also , the hours are later than most other storage facilities for access to your unit. 6A.M. until 10 P.M. everyday of the week for unit access. Other storage places close unit access at 9 P.M. This facility is well maintained, temperature controlled and has a very professional and courteous staff and willing to help. Burnest the manager is very helpful in suggesting the space and will try to get the best price for you depending on the season. It could use a few more carts. There should be signs to show how to make wide turns around the corners so that the sidings don’t get bruised. Some siding needs to be fixed. When it rains hard it pours. but they clean it up right away. The hours are great and very convenient for 7 days. The facility is gated and need to enter code to get in which is great for security.
