Nothing but a HORRIBLE experience purchasing a wedding dress even though I was very patient and courteous. I wished I had NEVER COME ACROSS this establishment and I wouldn't wish my nightmarish experience onto anybody!
My first dress fitting was scheduled for 45 mins. The seamstress had no clue that a custom addition of lace was to be done to the top of the dress. After 1 hour of working on me, she asked me to return in 2 hours, so she could take care of another customer, and take a lunch break.
For both dress fittings I waited at least 45 mins to be seen, and the job was not done either time within the allotted appointment period. Because I was from out of town, I had to go kill time for 1-2 hours and return the same day to continue.
The seamstress has a hard time communicating in English. She is easily distracted, and she speaks about other clients and their business to you. She bad-mouthed a client as she was working on my dress, with the client in the adjacent room. This is simply unprofessional and inappropriate.
The front desk staff is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. They treat you like a business transaction, always inquiring about money before anything else. I paid for my dress and alterations in FULL on day of purchase and yet, I was still asked about my payments every single time I went to this establishment.
Each time I was there was at least one UNHAPPY customer! I think this speaks a lot for a bridal salon and I should have known then!
The 2nd fitting was scheduled 5 weeks after my first. When I arrived for the 2nd fitting, I had to wait 45 minutes in the front, to be told that the seamstress is still working on the dress and she will need another 1-2 hours. The front staff was going to call me when the dress is ready for the fitting. 2 hours later I receive an angry call that I am not going to be seen that day if I don't make it back within 10 minutes and that another bride is going to be delayed because of me! When I ask the lady why she didn't call me (as was agreed), she rudely & loudly replies "how was I supposed to know to call you?!". At this location, the left hand doesn't know what the right is up to! I rush over in 15 minutes, and they tell me another bride in in the room. After waiting again for 25 minutes, I am sent into the fitting room where the previous bride's personal clothing and items are still on the bench & floor. To top it all off, the seamstress pulls the dress out of the bag, and NOTHING has been done to the dress. The bottom has not been shortened, the sides are still not taken in, the bustle is untouched. In 5 weeks and after 3 hours of delay, all she had done was cut 4 pieces of lace and to start a custom job for the top of the dress - this was 28 DAYS FROM MY WEDDING, even though I had explained to her that this was going to be my last time in town before the wedding.
I requested half of my alterations money back, given that nothing was done to the dress, other than pinning it. The manager is extremely inflexible and seems very stingy. I requested that the unfinished dress be packed up for me to take with only 28 DAYS left. While I was finishing up with the manager, the seamstress pulled all the existing pins out of the dress to undo the time consuming work that was paid for and she snuck out the corset ribbon of the back of the dress! If I had not noticed, I would have left there with a dress that was missing the major piece to lace up the back!!!!
Do yourself a favor and go another place! Maybe you won't have the same nightmarish experience as I. But it's not worth the risk!!!! Not for such a big milestone, such as a wedding! And be sure, that as soon as you pay a dime, they are going to treat you as it pleases them! There are PLENTY OTHER SALONS in Longs Island, and it's so sad, disappointing and shameful that a business like this still gets to operate in this day and age with customers and clients being so well informed and having so many tools...

GREAT EXPERIENCE AND HERE IS MY REVIEW:
I just got a new job in Farmingdale so I drive by this place every day. I decided to give them a call. Here is my time line: Monday 6/11/18 I called to schedule an appointment in 2 weeks. Tuesday 6/12/18 I called because I didn't want to wait that long and they were able to get me in at 5:30 pm that same day. Wednesday 6/13/18 I came back to purchase a dress.
The ladies that were working that evening were super nice and attentive. They allowed me to look around, try on as many dresses as I wanted, they even told me about their sample sale gowns available, which caught my attention really quickly. Being a thrift store shopping I had a hard time coming to terms of spending over 1k or more on a dress. I had already gone to 2 bridal boutiques in the Nassau county trying on dresses but no one mentioned a sample sale. For some reason I thought it was a kleinfield thing lol. But when they told me that I took a look at their inventory and they actually had a lot to choose from. I tried on a few dresses that weren't on sale, one being the dress I originally came in for ( allure 9501) that was my #1 pick. But once I narrowed down my dresses it ended up being 3 sample sale dresses and the allure 9501. And guess what? I fell in love with something completely different than 9501 allure dress and it was a sample sale dress!!!
The pricing on the sample sale dresses were unbeatable! I was able to buy it comfortably knowing the alterations are factored in the price (the cup padding on the dress is extra) but still adding in the price of the cups put my wallet and mind at ease!
The lady who had helped me yesterday was very patient with me asking to try on dress after dress and then back on again lol.
So here it is, Wednesday (today 6/12/18) I emailed very early in the morning with the detail of the dress I wanted to try on again. Charles called me a few minutes after opening their doors and said scheduled me in. Upon arriving at 1:30 pm all 3 dresses I had tried on the night before were already in a dressing room ready for me. How amazing that felt. That alone shaved time on my visit which I loved! I tried the dress on, still in love with it, fit like a glove, it was definitely meant for me, sorry ladies I took it :) I couldn't have asked for a better experience than I did here. Charles was great to deal from email to phone call all the way through to the payment process. No one pressured me yesterday or today. Buying a wedding dress is a big decision. I am someone who suffers from anxiety but I was helped beyond any other bridal shop I have gone to and did not feel pressured or anxious. If my review can help anyone who is doubting this place because of some poor reviews, I would say don't knock it until you go. Give them the benefit of a doubt, plus you can't judge them if you don't go yourself.
I will also put in a review once I get my alterations done because I am having it changed around a bit.
THANK YOU PRINCESS BRIDALS FOR ALL YOUR...
