Shaheen Plaza — Attraction in Town of Oyster Bay

I was in Hicksville so I decided to check the food quality and taste . Ordered half chicken karahi and two Roti .the person at counter said chicken don't come half you have to buy full plate .how much is that I inquired .she said $9:and change. I said ok .plus give me a chicken kabab roll to go .and a Canada Dry ginger ale. After few minutes a lady they call Aunty ( her name is on receipt aunty ) brought chicken karahi 2 Rotis and a soda .. Honestly the Chicken Karahi was the most mild Karahi I ever taste .there was no spice no salt ( good for me as I have very high blood pressure) .the curry was tasteless ..Roti was fine .I asked her to bring some salad ( but she said they only have onions .I asked for green Chiles & half lime .She said we don't serve lime but I will give you some green chilies ( she never brought chilies ) .Once I finished the lunch .I asked her to bring the bill .She came back with a handheld credit card device .She charged $43: and some cents .I said Madam what the heck $43 dollars for this food ..She said sorry I made a mistake don't worry it's not charged .she went back behind the counter .I follow her and told her I think it's charged .she checked with some other employees and said ok I will give you back $43 and cents in cash .then you pay me your bill cash which is $20 and cents .I said ok .So I got$43:and cents cash .and pay her $20 + 3 tip = 23 ..also get the receipt of getting $ 43 back ..For curiosity and review asked the price of Roti which was $3 each ( this is ridiculous even wheat is expensive cause of inflation but this Roti & Nan used to be 0:50 then $1 and now in Jackson heights and Coney Island it's still $1:50 ( these restaurants in Long Island are charging their customers really high plus the quality of food is way down but are busy and making money even their rents are not as high as Queens Jackson heights NY and Coney Island Brooklyn NY ) . Amazingly the Kabab roll which has a chicken kabab and Nan was $3:99 ( imagine just Roti is $3 but Nan and kabab is $3:99 .So instead of spending $20 I could fill my stomach with 2 Kababs roll each 3:99 ( $8 for two ) ...long time ago I had a chance to enjoy food here was very delicious but since the owner purchased the whole property build shops and renovated the restaurant the food quality is way down ( But who cares he is making money God Allah Bhagwan bless him more...

It is a very good Pakistani restaurant in Hicksville, and it has been there for decades. We love the chicken kebobs and different biryani dishes and others. Coming from Hyderabad India, this is the closest food to home that we get on Long Island, NY. Considering where inflation is, this place is very affordable for the common man.
