Taco Bell — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

Not as perfect as Westbury but a good contender. They have gotten my orders at the counter wrong and when I have said something they fix it. That's all I can ask for. Any place that at least is willing to fix mistakes is OK in my book. Furthermore I had been going here just more often than the other location so I would already expect a higher chance for mistakes here.

Let me also give a response to another review that gave 0 stars because she got a piece of chicken (to me this implies it's a piece of chicken that got into the meal in error) in a vegetarian dish. Understandably upset, she states she went to the counter to complain, to which the cashier advised that they can remake the order or refund the money. She then proceeds to complain in the review that they don't care about ones religious beliefs.

Honestly, lady, are you completely mad and insane? You complain cause your order is wrong with the mental image that it would have been an honest mistake, the cashier offers to do the only two things they can do - remake your vegetarian power bowl or refund you money, and you're still complaining? You're eating at an establishment that produces meat and non-meat meals side by side. If they didn't offer anything and told you to get lost I would understand but they literally offered to make it right.

If you want consistent service there is a vegetarian restaraunt in the very same shopping center. You're welcome to complain about the order getting wrong but don't act like the place didn't offer to fix the mistake WHEN YOU ADMIT IT IN THE...

If you grew up on Long Island, it's likely that Taco Bell holds a special place in your heart. The food is always satisfying, cheap, and available at 1:00am. I remember when they got sued a couple of years back and I was like damn, I hope the accuser loses. I actually have never really had a complaint about Taco Bell quality and would prefer it over a crappy McChicken sandwich any day. I recommend getting their $5 boxes to maximize value. Some of my favorite items are the regular crunchy taco, the quesarito, the 99 cent mini chicken quesadilla, and the burrito supreme (without sour cream). Also, make sure you get the Baja Blast soda as the light and sweet nature of the beverage perfectly compliments heavy fare.

In regards to this specific location in Hicksville (Broadway): Seating is plentiful, and I've had excellent customer service from the kids who take your order, especially the hispanic dude who looks like he is in high school (I apologize that I don't remember his name). That guy is always cordial when taking your order and a consummate professional, so mad respect. Sometimes there are a lot of people here and it takes forever to receive your order, especially on Friday afternoons.
