If I could give zero stars I would. Up until this January I had no problem getting my prescriptions filled. Starting this February 2025 my medication is constantly out of stock to the point where I have to go without until they get it in stock. They cannot get it from another pharmacy because of the federally controlled substance. They asked me to call them early so they can order my medication. Sometimes I forget because life gets in the way I have my own job my own house my own family on top of that they want me to do their job. Then you have their customer service like the lady I spoke to today Helen Who was extremely rude and dismissive of my concern about my medication never being in stock. I asked her for a partial refill And she told me no that it’s a federally controlled substance. I pointed out that they did it last month. And that could be done and she stated “ I have nothing to learn from you.” I don’t know what she meant by that comment. I called back after she hung up and asked to speak with the pharmacist. When I asked why they don’t order my medicine they told me the computer orders the medicine. Read moreI called the South Broadway location in Hicksville and they confirmed they had the MMR and Hep B vaccine at the reasonable prices which was 60 dollar for MMR. I booked time slots that day and rushed my in laws to the appointment. We drove from Huntington to Hicksville in peak traffic time to reach the pharmacy at the slotted time for the appointment. I spoke to the cashier at the pharmacy to let them know we are here for the vaccines. They stated the price was 120 plus for MMR and 175 plus for the vaccines. I told that I spoke to someone in their pharmacy an hour prior and confirmed the price at the lower numbers. They said they do not know where we got the price from and whom I spoke to. After talking to the staff to see if anything can be done they couldn't do anything. I had to pay the higher prices for both my in laws. Im writing this complaint why is there such a discrepancy in price and staff needs to be trained better in knowing pricing. Read moreDO NOT VISIT THIS PHARMACY. I used this Walgreens pharmacy for 3 years and I’m speaking from personal experience only. They don’t care about the customers or patients. They routinely turn people away with questions about medication and health insurance questions. They’ve made me wait 32 days to refill a 30 day script on multiple occasions. They’ve been making me pay out of pocket for meds for 3 + years saying that my United healthcare plan doesn’t cover my meds (I have recently switched pharmacies and it turns out my meds have been covered the whole time, and Walgreens has over charged me $120 a month for THREE YEARS). They are completely incompetent at their job, and the worst of them is the Asian male pharmacist. He does care if you’ll die without your meds, and doesn’t know how to read a calendar or count to 30....
