(LONG STORY, so apologies in advance!) I was looking to try a new nail salon! So I decided to book an appointment online, after getting a recommendation for Apple, a nail tech. I booked a dip powder manicure with Apple and a kids manicure for my 5 year daughter. We arrived at our appointment time; greeted by a male at the desk. I gave him my information, and he proceeded to tell me that Apple doesn't do dip powder and only does two services (hard gel and something else!); keep in mind, the system allowed me to book dip powder service with her! I noted I was unaware. He said I could go to someone else, which I agreed to do! He pointed us to the waiting area.
While sitting there, a young lady (nail tech) waves me over. I walked over to her, and it was Apple!! I had no clue as I didn't know her! She explained she could do the hard gel on my natural short nail (I already had dip powder on.). She noted the timing and pricing was the same as dip powder. I said, ok, no problem; I'll give it a try! She directed us to have a seat behind her as she had about 20mins left on her current customer (which ultimately meant she was 20mins late for my appointment, but no problem!)
At that time, a gentleman started doing my daughter's manicure. Essentially, she wanted a French manicure with flowers on two fingers and a rhinestone in the center! A design she gets often.
The front desk male comes back over to me. He asked if I was getting the hard gel. I explained that Apple confirmed she could do it on my nails. He confirmed I booked dip powder, which was already established! He also noted that its best for new customers to not specify a tech and instead let them choose. I said customers will always take recommendations from other customers, and its ridiculous if he doesn't expect for that to happen! He continued stating that I booked dip poweder.
I explicitly said to him, "its not a problem for me to do the hard gel, is it a problem for you?" He replied "yes, its a problem for me!" I immediately resolved the problem and declined all services for myself and instructed them to finish my daughter's manicure!
The gentleman doing my daughter's nails gets to the flower design and needs to call over support from a colleague! That guy does the design and they switch back. I noticed the first gentleman was reaching for the top coat but they had not put her rhinestone on. He proceeds to tell me rhinestones can't be put on regular nail polish. They can only put them on gel polish. WHAT???!!!
As my daughter is drying her nails, Apple approaches me. She is so sweet and apologetic. She is trying her hardest to convince me to do my nails. I explained this had nothing to do with her! And while I wouldn't be her customer, I'm certain there would be others behind me and hoped they were plentiful!
I also suggested she speak with the male at the desk, who I then learned was the manager. She proceeded to do just that!! They then argued, in their native language, for a solid 3-4 mins!
As guaranteed to Apple, she did get another customer before we left!
While I have no interest in returning to this business, if you choose to, check out Apple! I heard she was good...but be sure it's for a service she...
Read moreThe service was horrible. I came in with my friend so we can both get a regular gel pedicures. The gentleman taking care of me took my friend and I to the back and we sat down. We assumed the guy was going to do both our feet because it was a bit busy. So the guy started on my feet first he first started to cut my nails, as he was filing down my nail he kept scrapping my skin, so I kept telling him to be careful because he was hurting me. He was in such a rush. He proceeded to file my nails, next all he did was scrub my feet with cheese grater, quickly washed them and started to paint them. I told him what happened to the rest of the pedicure? Why the my nails uneven? He Didn't supply me with the full service I was expecting and paid for. I kept asking him what happened to the rest of it. He kept repeating everything I was saying, but continued to do whatever he wanted. I kept removing my feet because he was just painting them. I kept asking him if I can try the French tip on one toe before continuing to see if I like it and if I don't I would just like all white. He was just doing the French tip so I stopped him after one toe and decided I didn't want it and would like the all white. He looked annoyed and kept sighing and rushing. He was just applying the white polish on over and over being very lumpy. I'm telling him it looks really thick and he's like it looks good. Proceed to oil my feet telling I'm done and i need to go pay. I told him I will pay with my friend when she gets hers done. In the meanwhile all this was happening my friend was still waiting to get her pedicure and there were a few people speaking to the guy in their language since we got there and we thought he was telling them that's he's doing hers after but when I was telling him she's been waiting for her feet to get done too and he was like no. She wouldn't be in the chair waiting, she even asked and he said one moment. So we assumed he will some do hers, as the guy was rushing me to pay, my friend decided she didn't want to get them done, so as we are trying to figure out what to do if she should do them or not. He kept rushing me to pay, Like sir can we get a moment I will pay in a minute I'm already unhappy with the service. Due to that my friend decided to leave because she already saw the service wasn't good and he was being rude and seemed to be in a rush. They only care about the money not the actual service. They need to do better. As I'm paying he was signaling over to press a tip, usually I'm a tipper but with the service we got and an extra $12 card charge is crazy. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. At least not the guy I received service from. I wish I asked for his name and spoken to someone while I was there but I'm just very upset that I didn't want to make a scene. I got on vacation tonight and I had to so to a whole different place to get my feet redone and fixed. My toes are really sore and tender to the touch due to the few layers of skin...
Read moreI honestly would give 0 stars if there was an option for it! I scheduled an appointment with Ryan for a fill in, I arrived at my appointment 15 min early spoke with the guy at the front desk he said “ryan left 30 min ago he was sick I tried to call you but you didn’t pick up” mind you he just had called me 3 min before me walking in! Why didn’t I get a call when Ryan left? Would’ve saved me the drive & would’ve saved me this terrible experience! So now the guy says “I’ll give you somebody who knows how to do nails just like Ryan design & everything” & I said ok. I asked what’s his name he said Louis. Ok . I sit down with Louis he starts drilling my nails started complaining already about my nail lifting from both sides I said ok? I know that’s why I’m here … he said “wanna start over” & I said no I don’t have time for a new set . So he continues to drill my other nails & says still “all your nails are lifting from side to side see , see , see” & continues to put my fingers up to my eye for me to see like if I didn’t know what my nails looked like before walking in there , so I went on my phone to distract myself because at this point I’m already annoyed . The third time he said it again “so what you think , new set” I said I do not have time for a new set !! & he said it’s fine I’ll take off your nails quick in 2 min & do everything quick & I said omg do it because In my brain he isn’t going to stop saying it until I do it . Now he starts taking off my old set & when I mean taking them off honestly ripping them off .. he grabs a fake nail & starts taking off my old nails not asking if it hurts or not just pulling them off he ripped off one of my nails by the way in this process ( I was bleeding) & I know he seen it because he drilled high when he came to that nail. Honestly the worse nail tech any girl can ask for . I would never come back to this place!! Spend $80 for nothing because I needed to get them redone anyway today because they were so bad!! TERRIBLE!! Literally when a customer tells you NO they do not want a new set then it’s NO!!!! It’s either you can fix the nails or you can’t , I honestly would’ve respected him more if he said “I can’t fix them”. I would’ve respected him more if he was more mindful that pulling off somebody’s nail HURTS & if your going to make them do a new set Talk to your customer about the pain!! Make them feel comfortable! He didn’t wanna do my nails. He had a attitude the entire time he kept pulling my fingers & pushing them away while in the process of the gel & it was honestly just a rush job… charging $80 for a rush job is insane & a terrible experience . I would never step foot into this...
