“ LIDL “ to No customer service. Lol The store is clean. The staff is friendly and the prices are really good for certain items. However, I have a serious bone to pick with the staffing levels at the cashier station. Not only are there RARELY more than one cashier, but none of them want to bag the items for you. So I go to the self checkout, which is a joke because I’m not an employee of the store and I scan my items in and ask for a paper bag. The staff in no uncertain terms said we don’t have anymore and then turned away. I asked the staff, but how am I going to carry these groceries to my home? I received no answer. Look I don’t balance multiple items on my nose like a trained seal or juggling clown So either Lidl is not paying them a living wage and they’re working while angry at the customers or something is wrong with the training and oversight. There is no customer service at the checkout. To add insult to injury, I self check out my own items carry them to the door and the security guard who is practically standing next to the self checkout in Plain view wants to see my receipt....
Read moreThis is my go to store even though there are more in this area. The store is well maintained and I normally can find what I want. But with all the good potential this store could have I must list the bad qualities so they could correct them and become successful. Making sure there are carts in front of the store. Shouldn't have to walk away from the store to get a cart. The bottle redemption machines software needs to be updated barely works. Baked goods should be more in reach for customers. You have to stretch to get to items when the close ones are gone. More workers on the registers and a front end person. Not everyone can do self check. Check the bread items. This may have happened in transport but evidence of rodents was notice. Saw a chew hole in a bag of bagels. Close at the time that is posted on the door. I arrived at 8:40p.m. and the security guard was locking and unlocking the door so no new customers could come in even though the posted close time...
Read moreI hadn’t heard of Lidl’s until I noticed this location opening and researched it. It was a pleasant surprise upon visiting. There’s ample space and the bakery gives the store a delicious aroma (by design I’m sure). There’s just enough of a variety in each department. It’s not as large as some of the other chains but I prefer that. It’s definitely large enough where you need at least a good hour to see everything. I suggest downloading the app in advance although they had good wifi when I was there so I completed the process effortlessly. I also suggest bringing your own bags and keeping your receipt handy after paying to show security. I didn’t use the self checkout kiosk. The checkout experience was easy thanks to Anthony who was so patient and professional ringing up my purchase.. Shoutout to him. He explained the process with kindness.
