Chic Boutique NY — Attraction in Town of Poughkeepsie

I can not say enough wonderful things about this shop. First let me say I am a Mother of a bride, a very overwhelming but happy occasion for any Mom. I live 4 hours from this boutique and could not be more ecstatic about the service, tentativeness and time Barbara and Kaitlin have provided to this shop. Every gown imaginable could be found for every body type. My daughter who lives not far from the Poughkeepsie Galleria said to me that I should come down by her and visit this shop as they have everything. She was right. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smile and service. The first time I arrived was a weekend and being Prom season and Wedding season around the corner, the shop was very busy but did not stop the only two woman, Barbara and Kaitlin from making contact and their availability to each customer. A feat done with ease, The experience put me at ease with the pressure of finding just the right dress. I can not stress how grateful I am to Barbara for all her professionalism, knowledge and opinions on the gowns, alterations and well just everything to help me make choices that will make me feel like the proud Mother of the Bride that I want to be. It was worth the trip and I would never go anywhere else again in the future if I need a gown or a beautiful dress. Thank you Barbara and her team for the wonderful service! Ordered a Terani dress for my son's wedding March 28, 2021. The sample dress in the store was my size. But I wanted a new one. I paid in full $508 for it to be ordered. I was never called to say the dress arrived, so I called July 15th. I was told the dress was in and they weren't able to call me because they were so busy with prom season....hmmm. I thought proms were in June. When I called she told me not to come in until the end of August for my son's October wedding. Seems weird with things changing all the time due to COVID. I went to see the dress the next day only to find the dress wasn't ordered the ripped and snagged sample dress on a broken hanger was handed to me. However, she claimed it was a new one. When I asked to see the sample dress I was told it was sold without her even going to check for it. Then she said it came from the manufacturer in this condition. So then she offered to order another, she walked over to the computer pressed 3 buttons then said the dress wasn't available anymore. It took 45 minutes in the store to be told I should just put in a dispute with my credit card company. We'll since it was outside of 60 days I couldn't do the dispute. Took another week to get a refund check from the store. NEVER AGAIN. I WILL NEVER SHOP OR...

Chic Boutique are extremely nice people!!! I started off with online support with Mona who helped me and directed me here to their 3rd location that specializes in sweet sixteen gowns & she told me to link up with Barbara...

Well let me tell you... Barbara is amazing!!! She was so patient and helpful and to top it off.... she was extremely nice!!!!

She helped my daughter find a beautiful dress & the color we were looking for too!!!!

The dress had some minor issues, but Barbara said she will fix it and while she did... we decided to go grab a bite at the food court... once we had gotten back to the store she was done and she explained to me how to open & close the zipper on the dress bag & also gave me the instructions on what to do the week before the event....

We honestly thought we were going to look at dresses that were similar to what my daughter wanted and guess what... it didn’t look good on her.... Barbara found something that went with my daughter’s body type and she looked like a princess!!!! We bought the dress, crown, bracelet, the slip and her sneakers... unfortunately the store didn’t carry her shoe size 11...

The drive from Staten Island, NY was totally worth it!!!! We will be back in 2 years for her prom dress....😉
