I frequently shop at Hewitts Garden Center and I’ve always been thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The garden center is a true gem for anyone who loves plants, gardening, or simply spending time in a beautiful, well-organized space.

The selection of plants is incredible—everything from vibrant flowers and lush shrubs to unique, hard-to-find varieties. Each plant looked healthy and well-cared-for, and the staff clearly takes pride in maintaining a high standard of quality. The layout of the garden center is also excellent, making it easy to find what you’re looking for while also discovering new inspiration for your garden.

What really sets the Queensbury location apart, though, is the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Jess and her staff are more than happy to answer all of my questions, offering expert advice on plant care, landscaping ideas, and even helping me choose the right soil and fertilizers for my specific needs. Their passion for gardening was evident, and they made me feel confident about my purchases.

In addition to the plants, offers a wide range of gardening tools and decorative items, making it a one-stop shop for all your gardening needs. The prices are fair, and I appreciate the frequent sales and discounts that make it even more affordable.

A nice size location. Outdoor staff wasn't rude, but didn't go out of their way to be friendly. Very straight to the point of prepping the Xmas tree of your choice. When I choose to support local businesses, I do so with the intent on getting to know who I'm supporting and what not. However, Inside staff was great. Offered free refreshments ( local apple cider and cookies) and everything was on sale ranging from 20-50% If I had to nit pick (what reviews are for) I didn't like how the tree had no wrap or bag on it, if a customer only had a car instead of a truck like myself, I could see the pine needles shedding from the car to in your house annoying.
