May's Farm in Wading River is overall the BEST farm out east I have been to yet!! Their family run business provides most excellent jams,jellies,decor,and the flowers and freshly harvested produce are UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The family are very nice and welcoming and eager to help assist a shopper in any way they can!!! They also have great big smiles on their employees faces! Mays is always good if you're looking for fresh produce. I went today for tomatoes and corn specifically. I ultimately got cucumbers,frying peppers, and zucchini. Tomatoes and plum tomatoes are a dollar cheaper per pound than most farmstands in area. Tomatoes are $ 2.99/lb while plum tomatoes are $ 1.99/lb. Corn is $ 1:00/ear which is same as most farmstands.
