Let me start with, Samantha is a great stylist, I am disappointed that I’ll never be able to go back to her. I decided to try balayage silver/platinum. Well the first appointment, Samantha tried, it was ok. Very brassy and orange & the balayage started way too low, it looked ok, but looked like I needed it redone. I really wasn’t happy with it once I washed the blowout out. So I called and spoke with Laurie at the front desk. I paid $300 for this color and cut & it looked like I needed to go back to the salon. Laurie’s response was, just come back in and we will fix it, no charge. Color correction was free and She made it clear I had to pay for the blowout. No problem. But I 100% would not have returned a week later if I was paying the same amount as the original color to have the color corrected. Laurie even called me & left a few messages to make sure that there was no miscommunication. Well today was a major misunderstanding. I was embarrassed and insulted. I went to pay and she started totaling up everything I had done today, to correct my last appointment. I was told to pay for a blowout today. When I went to pay, Laurie - asked me for $260, the same woman who called me 4 times in the last week to make sure that there was no miscommunication. Wow lady what happened to my color correction??!! Major miscommunication, after Laurie made sure there is no miscommunication, I assumed that she talked to her employees about why I was there - she did bother me with multiple calls, messages and texts, but unfortunately she didn’t communicate that with anyone else but myself. I will never go there again. Very unprofessional, felt scammed!! Super frustrating to get so many calls and assume that this salon was fixing their mistake. Only to find out, I was going to be charged FULL PRICE. Laurie lied to me. And then embarrassed me big time, be careful. You’ll go for one service and end up being charged for three, very hard to find an honest salon or at least an honest front desk woman who is collecting the money and making the...
Read moreThis hair salon is the worse. The first time I went there I showed them a picture of the hair color I wanted, obviously I know blonde takes a while to achieve. I’ve had platinum blonde hair before. My hair easily lifted and was blonde enough the first try, but the hair stylist Megan felt the need to change it by adding brown to the hair and changed the blonde into a dark brown, almost the color of my real hair color when I first walked in. I figured instead of quickly deciding to not go back there and leaving a bad review on here, I’d give them a chance to fix it by going back again and having a different stylist work on it. The other stylist Danielle made the hair a little brighter than the last time when the first stylist ruined it. But after goin there a few more times hoping she’d help me achieve the color I wanted, she did nothing else but having me come in so that she can add glaze to the hair which washes off after couple of washes. Trying to change orange/yellow look from a hair doesn’t help by adding temporary glaze, you need bleach to change the orange/yellow from it, but they think they’ll keep getting $390 from me every month by having me come in for temporary glaze on my hair. Then after telling them the glaze doesn’t fix orange/yellow in hair, they told me I have to have more temporary glaze for a few more weeks. This place was a complete waste of my time and money. An absolute disappointment. Do yourselves a favor and spend your money...
Read moreI called this salon two weeks in advance to schedule two appointments for the day of my son's wedding. One was for myself and the other for my granddaughter, who was the flower girl. When we arrived I was told that the hairdresser, who was to style my granddaughters hair, had called in sick. My usual hairdresser was going to do both of us. I wrongly assumed that we would get the full time for two appointments. My granddaughter wanted her hair braided. I saw panic in the hairdresser's eyes as she told me that she was not very good with braids. She took me first. She rushed through my styling, even though we had discussed what she would do the week before, when I came in to have my hair highlighted. She took the rest of the time, one appointments worth, to do my granddaughters hair. My granddaughter's hair looked ok. The hairdresser was right, she was not good at doing braids. She looked as though she was performing some intricate surgery. Mine was flat without style. I didn't say anything at the time because it was getting late. Remember I had booked two appointments for the same time . What we received was one appointment for two stylings. If I had had the time I would have rewashed and styled it myself when I got home. I was so disappointed. I looked awful in...
