Pazzo Ristorante and Wood Fired Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Riverhead

So here is our story we are a non profit organization called The Ahmadiyya Muslim youth Association we are based in 5 chapters. So once a year we take out our youth to a place where we can have a healthy competition in sports education and various other departments...plus to explore and meet and great each other and create a strong bond of Brotherhood...so it's a lot of work and lost of activity and time...so we get hungry...usually we have organizers who are volunteering their time to Cook three times a day.. but this time we decided to treat them to the best foods on long island... After searching for about a week I found this pizza place which according to the reviews and rating it was the best...since we are a non profit we have a budget to work with..so the hunt had started which ended here..when i called the store and spoke to Marie..its really difficult to be satisfied on the first phone call when speaking on the phone and negotiating a order...but not this time I was ready to use my salesman tactics to crack this deal to my favor..in Islam we have a saying that "God works in Mysterious ways" when I told her that I have X amount to feed and we are at the campsite and I have a budget to work with feeding a 100 people ... how much $$$... I was shocked with the calculation I mean how can it be that number..and yes I mean it was under budget... Marie gave me the best deal and did not give me the chance to beg or to use my tactics..everything was in our favor...and I will tell you the reason because they are genuine business owners and very nice and respected people especially Marie who I dealt with...she kept helping us and making the deal better and better..to the day they deliver I mean the driver was such a nice person Arturo...happy and a caring person best delivery guy I met..I ordered 26 pies...13 chicken parm..13 plain..1 vegan dairy free and 1 gluten free (the people thank you for that) sorry for making this review so long...but I have lot to say. .let's talk about the pizza now first of all..we had so much pizza and the slices were huge..everyone not only ate 2-3 slices they Also as they ate were making unbelievable sounds and surprising comments like "oh my God this so good." "I did not expected to be this good" they absolutely loved it we had like three pie left over I asked if anyone wants to take it home at first he is like I will take 1 slice then he was like I will take the pie this pizza is really good..we never had such great feed back for pizza...everything was perfect.. I wanted to take this moment in Thanking you on the behalf of all 88 people that Attended the event and were really and greatly Satisfied and appreciated the great tasting pizza and the having the best experience of a great deal...That I solute you for being the way you are... true example of a true business and true genuine respectfull people.... Thank you Marie... Will most definitely referred you to our local chapter in Long Island and every time we come there definitely have a slice or 26...

DELIVERY DRIVERS DO NOT PICK UP PLACE OR USE EXTREME CAUTION ACCEPTING ORDERS FROM HERE!!! YOU WILL MOST LIKELY RUIN YOUR NIGHT!!! It's not worth it. This delivery apps need to start holding this place accountable for its exploitation of delivery drivers time.

Unfortunately, this is one of the most unorganized, mismanaged pizza places in Suffolk County. Absolutely terrible! ABHORRENT. I made the mistake of accepting an order to deliver here again after a similar experience a year ago. They have ZERO respect for drivers time. ZERO. ABSOLUTELY ZERO!!!!!

I waited 50 minutes during prime time for two simple orders consisting of a pizza pie, garlic nots, salad, and pasta and oil. After arriving they first told me the orders would be ready in 15 minutes. Then after 15 minutes they told me 10 more minutes. They eventually stretched a 15 minute wait to 50 minutes. 50 MINUTES!!!! IF THEY HAD GIVEN ME AN ACCURATE WAIT TIME WHEN I HAD ARRIVED, I WOULD HAVE CANCELLED THE ORDER AND MOVED ON WITH MY NIGHT!!! WHY THE HELL DO YOU LIE TO DRIVERS?? DO YOU THINK DRIVERS CAN AFFORD TO WAIT 50 MINUTES FOR ORDERS THAT ARE TIPPING $5.00 WITH $2.00 BASE PAY????????

Now my Friday night was TOTALLY ruined as I missed out on several good orders waiting at this establishment because this place is managed by literally the "blind leading the blind" who were moving at snail like paces. Actually that is an insult to snails...The mismanagement and just total failure of the way orders were being handled here that i witnessed was mind boggling.

It is places like this that make gig workers wanted to throw in the towel. I can't say how horrific this place is towards app delivery drivers. If you want to ruin your Friday or Saturday nights and make minimum wage because of all the time you waste here, then accept orders from here.

IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE ALL THE ORDERS YOU HAVE COMING IN, THEN CONTACT THE DELIVERY APPS TO ADJUST THE PICK-UP TIMES ACCORDINGLY OR SHUT DOWN THE ORDERS UNTIL YOU CATCH UP . Why would you exploit and abuse drivers time like this??? We know why. Because you want to make money and don't give a crap about the drivers you are screwing in the process.

Your establishment needs to do much...

Despite our better judgement, our family keeps giving this place a chance after them screwing us over time and time again. This pizza place's notoriously bad service has literally become a running joke in our household, and this will hopefully be the last time we make an attempt to tolerate their consistently disappointing antics. The owner has berated their employees in front of customers to the point that they all look miserable EVERY TIME we go there, without fail. They'll mess up orders and proceed to fabricate lies about what happened to cause the error, while simultaneously blaming these poor young people that work for them. They give wait times that they knowingly cannot meet (cue "5 more minutes" over and over until, before you know it, you've been waiting over an HOUR for a simple order) EVERY. TIME. And I've never been more uncomfortable at an establishment than I have been when tagging along to pick up dinners at this restaurant. They hardly ever greet us, despite us having picked up food from their restaurant multiple times... if anything, they act stand-offish towards us, the paying customers. Pardon me for trying to give your somehow thriving business our money. I wholeheartedly agree with every other 1 star review on this restaurant's page. The 5 star reviews BAFFLE me. Don't know how this place hasn't failed yet. I wish I could word this all nicer, but I'm genuinely sick and tired of this establishment.
