This is the first time we went to this restaurant. It’s very nice and worth eating in it. The waiters are friendly. The food is very nice. We ordered greek style chicken breast stuffed with cheese and spinach. Chicken gyro , pizza burger , ribeye steak and lamb chops . Also we took lemon meringue cake. We loved everything 😋. The only thing that could be improved is there is strange smell in the second eating hall although the bathroom was clean and the restaurant was ok too. the food was great! So the smell did not really matter with the food but it would be nice to have it smelling nice 👍 nothing else was bad about the restaurant the dessert was amazing 😉

Outstanding traditional gyro with tender meat and plenty of fresh lettuce and tomato. Very large serving. Tzatziki sauce was so good, perfectly cool, garlicky cucumber perfection. If you found my review helpful, please give it a like! Hometown setting, home made food, lightning fast accurate service. Beautiful, fresh selection of cakes and pastries. Coffee refills (and they remembered I ordered decaf!) brought to our table by cheerful waitstaff. Our server Michelle was genuinely happy and made us feel like valued, appreciated customers. Highly recommend as you head down Island to Orient or Greenport.

A classic Long Island diner. I'm always ordering breakfast, so I can't speak too much on the lunch/dinner entrees, they do have an insane coleslaw I've tried. I've been eating here every week for the past few months, it's scrumptious. Get an omelet, homefries, buttered white toast, and a cup of coffee or tea and live a little!

I have been patronizing this establishment when my late wife work at little flower agency in the year of 2017. I still go to the dinner and I bring my kids , my grandkids, and my brother to eat there. I never had a bad meal or bad service. Very nice people and atmosphere. Today was not that day. My daughter grandson and I stop to have breakfast after leaving Riverhead , NY on Long Island. Passed by a few other eateries to get to the Greek dinner. Once there we was seated right away and our server came to take our coffee order. I ask for a few minutes to decide what we wanted to eat. That when things went down hill, it took another 5 minutes to order food. I was done with my first cup of cofree before that. The second thing was the couple that sat down 5 to 7 minutes after us revived there food before we did. I asked my waiter why our food is taking so long he told me he did not know and said they was busy. Ok , I know they were busy but , how can a couple sit down 5 minutes after you and get there food and I am still waiting several minutes after that. I got up went to the check out and asked to be rung up for the coffee and juice and , told them I been waiting a long time for my food and was not happy. One of the person that was behind the counter said that’s ok we very busy and I can leave if I don’t want to wait. It’s not the fact that I don’t want wait it’s the fact that how u get seated first and serve last and the attitude of the so called owner and his maître d’ suck. I was not looking to be served right away but, in a timely matter. It was busy but, how can you get your food after other people who sat down after you. That was my beef. And they just like take it or leave it. So that is what I did , left it. When down the road to Rocky Point ( Zona) to spend my 63.00 + 12.00 tip on a better establishment. Thanks for the...

They raised their prices AGAIN. This is I think the 5th time in the past 2 years (no joke). I will forever be a slave to their Gyro otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way to order from here anymore since:

  1. They are a couple of towns away
  2. They don't deliver to me
  3. The prices just keep going up and up and up. 2 years ago Gyro's were 7.95. Now they are 11.95.
  4. The food varies depending on what you get, hit or miss. BUT the Gyro is perfect, right down the the tzatziki and has my heart. It's the only place I can find as good as the ones in Astoria. They delivered to me during the pandemic and I was elated (I order out at least once or twice a week) but they abruptly stopped. Now I'm forced to order from the only place that delivers to me (pizza/Italian) which is making a killing from my household but I get sick of it. The diner has so much more variety I could order daily and not get tired of it. My fiance is a breakfast person (I am not) while I am a gyro & salad person so it was an awesome option for us. Other good stuff here are the mashed potatoes (the gravy sucks), anything fried (fries, onion rings, chicken tenders), greek salad & grilled chicken. 2 surprise flops were a burger and the spanakopita. Maybe it was a one off but I never tried them again after. Anyway, not sure how much longer I can keep justifying ordering from this place without a car & forcing my fiance to drive there. Not to mention that the food cost is starting to no longer be as good of a deal. Wish they would just up their delivery minimum or charge a fee and expand their radius. The only other place to get a good Greek Gyro out here is Hellenic in East Marion which is almost an hour away! I miss...

I always have a good time here. It has been my local diner for the past two years or so. The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly and will greet you warmly and treat you well. They will also begin to call you by name once they've seen you enough! It is a family-friendly place and there are folks of all generations present anytime I go. In terms of accessibility, there is only one tricky bit: the two doors in series at the entrance. Someone with a mobility problem may have trouble with that, but there is usually an employee by the door to help, with a smile. Otherwise the diner is well designed for mobility, with enough space to move, be seated, and use the restroom if needed. Parking is free outside and is only one mild step down from the restaurant level.

Update: On mobility, the diner has a separate door right into the dining area which staff will open if someone has trouble navigating the two doors at the main entrance. So this is taken care of if a patron has a...
