Middletown Cinemas — Attraction in Town of Wallkill

Would have given thia place a 5 plus but please read this. So we were really happy about the LOW price of admission and the LOW price of concession foods. The lady working was pleasant and it seemed she was doing everything. The theater was clean and modern with huge heated reclining seats. All was great until my son went to use the bathroom. When he tried to come back in to the movie the lady stopped him to get a ticket. Which he did not have because I paid for them and had them in my purse. He told her his mom had paid for 3 tickets. And she didn't believe him, took out her phone and said she was going to call the cops. He finally made it back in by ignoring her I guess. He was extremely upset . He said he felt he was racially profiled ( we are Native American) When theovie was over and we walked out she did look very sincerely sorry and told him she was sorry. At that point he was so upset that he couldn't accept her apology . He told me mom let's never go there again. He is a quiet amd good kid who has never ever been in any trouble. I am glad she apologized but the whole thing could have been easy if she had just followed him in to where his sister and I were and she would have known he paid. Alsoaybe if she had not been having to do everything there she would have remembered him coming in with me. I really liked this place a lot. Will we go...

This is a sneaky, comfortable theater looking at the outside of Middletown Cinemas. You would think it’s an old rundown theater but once you enter inside, it’s actually very clean and very updated and modern especially the seating and sound systems. Most of the theaters have reclining seats that are comfortable in spacious, modern Dolby Soundsystem, which vibrates the theater during any show that you’re watching the theaters themselves are small and intimate no more than about 50-70 based on which theater you’re in, but it’s definitely roomy and comfortable one odd thing the luxury reclining seats are high off the floor, and they automatically recline when the movie starts so be prepared for that if you’re a first timer. The snack bar is well stocked be forewarned It is regular theater pricing, the staff friendly, not a lot of them working a small location like this but the ones that were there were friendly and kind. I heard some people complaining that it was only cash box, but I was able to purchase my seats online. You do not get a seat Choice but you can purchase your tickets online. If you don’t have cash. outside is plenty of parking in the strip mall overall it was a great adventure to go see...

My husband and I decided to give this place a shot to see the latest Jurassic World movie. It looks a little rough around the edges, but holy cow, the staff was SO friendly. It was clean. The prices are so good; my small popcorn was $3, and it was like a brown lunch bag in size. They have hot food, and Nesquik. I think our snacks and beverages were less than $10. As we were waiting for our theater to empty (there are only four), one of the staff came and chatted up the other customers, before new customers came in and she ran to tend to them. Bathrooms were clean, the theater was clean, the associates held the door for everyone and wished them a good night and thanked them. Sweet kids. They clean the theater in between viewings. The theater was small, like the old days. It was cute. I really liked that. You can't choose your seats in advance like AMC, but this was fine. We got perfect spots. The chairs recline and move. They're comfortable. The movie wasn't overly loud, and I appreciate that. We've decided this is our new place to go. Definitely worth checking out. It has that small-town,...
