Sorry JC Penney but because Synchrony Bank does not appear to have a platform where I can rate their credit card with you, I will have to say my piece here. I applied for a JC Penney Credit card when I was last in the USA and made a purchase. When I received the statement I had to pay via money order and sent the bill in the mail more than a week before it was due, so it should have gotten there on time and it might have, however. "payments takes "3 DAYS" to post to the account so I was charged a $30.00 late fee. You're kidding me right? I called the number on the credit card to find out more and the automated voice attendance told me may account balance was $32.67 even though my statement said $30.00 so where did the extra $2.67 come from? The rep I spoke to said, "the billing cycle ends on the 27th of the month so that is the interest from that date until today's date." So, if I were to pay the $30.00 as the statement says, I would still have $2.67 interest plus until they received my payment? I would never get out of the cycle of interest this way. In Canada, if you pay your statement in full by the date on the statement you DO NOT get a late fee but do pay some interest. I'm done with dealing with this mess. I am going to drive to the US to pay the full amount at the store, which will end up being cheaper than getting another money order and sending payment by mail. I have already cut up the card and I think, as an extra "Thank you" I will send it in the mail with a note telling them they can keep their credit and cancel my account. This has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I will think twice before travelling to the US to...
Read moreThere were two employees, a male and a female. The female was watching us like a hawk, which was creepy, and the male was checking people out at the desk. My husband brought two belts up from clearance - same rack, right next to each other, same style, different size and the one in his size didn't have the clearance sticker. They didn't even ring them up, just refused to help him. He was so upset he didn't even want to be there anymore.
We both happen to have tattoos and I probably make more money than the two people combined, because I work hard, am honest, and am good at what I do. My husband is an Afghanistan War veteran and just transitioned to the Army National Guard to further serve this country and the state of Connecticut. He is a good man. We are good people, yet we were treated like the dirt on the bottom of these people's shoes because we have body art. Shame on them and shame on you for hiring such small minded people.
Why would a tattooed person steal? Body art is expensive. If they have enough money to spend $1000 on a chest piece, they can afford to shop...
Read moreI went in the other day for a hair cut and let's just say it was quite the experience. First, I made an appointment for 2:30 and I was there early and all checked in- I was standing there for a good 15 minutes while they were trying to locate the first stylist. The lady at the front desk was very nice and apologized for the mistake and asked if I cared who cut my hair, and I said no, so she went and found someone who could "fit me in". Second, I talked with the second stylist and told her that I wanted to cut my very long hair to like mid- shoulder length. She said okay, put a comb where I wanted it cut to and all was good. But then she brushed my hair, and basically grabbed a chunk from the back and snipped it all off, I was okay at first because I thought it was the amount we had agreed on but then when I saw my hair after it was finished it was above my shoulders, and the real kicker is- the whole process took less than 5 minutes and it cost $32 JUST for the cut, not a wash or anything. Needless to say I'm never going back, and I don't recommend anyone...
