Super Wok Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Watertown

Simply put: Proteins, yes Vegetables, no.

Explained:

Loved the protein options, sesame chicken and pepper steak. The vegetables are on menu as garlic green beans and garlic broccoli. I recommend the owner to change names to chili garlic green beans and chili garlic broccoli. I am primarily a veggie eater when I have take out, but my mouth was burning with the beans and broccoli after the first couple of bites…I use chilis in my home cooked meals, have multiple types of hot sauce, etc…I am able to handle a little spice with enjoyment, but these literally created chili oil in the vegetables and made it unbearable to eat. These are not made the way a traditional restaurant would make them.

This is my first (semi) negative google review. I only posted it because we live twenty minutes away and I would like other potential customers to not feel like they have wasted money on sides they would not...

Absolutely the worst service. I work in a restaurant and i understand rude customers and people who just cause a scene for no reason. But months ago we put in an order for me and my boyfriend and our friend who is allergic to mushrooms. We received the order and he saw mushrooms in it no biggie we’ll call the store and tell them and see if we can get one without again. No the lady I talked to on the phone denied us that there were mushrooms in the first place argued with us for some time and finally we were over it frustrated and angry. Since then me and my boyfriend have ordered because we genuinely think there the best Chinese food in town and the lady is super passive aggressive. Just now we ordered through door dash it’s Friday we’re trying to relax just as soon as our dasher arrives at the store our whole order was refunded no explanation nothing super unprofessional and just...

I’ll never spend another dime at this place again. Their food isn’t even that good and they use oyster sauce on EVERYTHING 🤢. My son ordered a hibachi plate from them. He specifically asked for white rice and no vegetables at all as it CLEARLY states on the recipe. This is what showed up at our house. I called to speak with someone about it. I was kind but the old Chinese lady that usually answers the phone was rude and hung up on me. If you don’t like to hear things like that then your cooks should follow directions in the orders they receive it’s not hard. That was my son’s dinner and he couldn’t even eat it.
