Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Watertown, New York, was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, we felt an overwhelming sense of warmth and welcome that made this hotel stand out as one of our absolute favorites.
The amenities were excellent, offering a perfect balance of comfort and style. Every detail in the hotel—from the thoughtful decorations to the cozy yet modern ambiance—reflected the care and attention put into creating a memorable experience for guests.
What truly made this stay unforgettable, however, was the staff—especially James. James went far beyond what we expected to ensure our visit was special. He not only shared his extensive knowledge about the local area but also took the time to personalize his recommendations for us, highlighting attractions and activities that were perfect for every season. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made such an impression on us. It felt like we had a local guide who truly wanted us to experience the best of Watertown. His thoughtfulness and warmth were unparalleled, and we are so grateful for his efforts in making our trip so memorable.
The on-site restaurant was another highlight of our stay. The food was freshly prepared, delicious, and served with genuine care. The servers, Morgan and Jean, were incredibly kind, attentive, and ensured every meal was enjoyable. Their exceptional service added so much to our experience, and it was clear they take great pride in what they do.
Another fantastic touch was the hotel’s thoughtful amenities, including unlimited free bottled water for all guests—a small but impactful gesture that added to our comfort.
We’d also like to thank Monica at the front desk for her warm, friendly demeanor and for making the check-in process seamless and pleasant.
Even after we checked out, the staff’s thoughtfulness continued to shine. My grandmother accidentally left her purse behind, and the team promptly called us to let us know. Their care and quick action saved us so much worry and perfectly exemplified their dedication to their guests’ well-being.
The quality of care we received at the Hilton Garden Inn is truly unprecedented. It’s clear that this team is passionate about creating a welcoming environment, and they made our holiday stay incredibly special.
We cannot recommend this hotel enough—it’s more than just a place to stay; it’s a home away from home. Thank you, James, Monica, Morgan, Jean, and the entire team for making our visit so memorable. We’re already looking forward to...
Read moreMy wife and I were on our way driving to Boston for Christmas and we planed to stop over in Watertown Garden Inn on the Christmas Eve. At check in Katrina at the Front desk was very friendly and professional and greeted us with a warm smile, which was very welcoming. Then we decided to have a quick bite at the lobby lounge before we head up to the room since it was late. Robert at the bar was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were value for money but the service was outstanding. Following day morning (Christmas Day) we saw Katrina again with a big smile saying merry Christmas to us and looked very happy to work even though she was working back to back on Christmas Eve and Christmas day morning. That showed her professionalism and the enthusiasm towards her job. All the servers at the breakfast bar were extremely friendly and were always with a smile. Karen was our server that morning and she was very friendly. She made our day by being of great service to all our family before we start our long drive to Boston. Since the overall experience was such a great one we decided to stop at this hotel for lunch on our way back to Toronto. The lunch server was Amanda and she was equally good and that surprised me with the service constancy at this hotel and it was quite impressive.
I witnessed the most impressive thing about the service of this hotel staff after we reached home. I realized I had lost my wallet and tracking it back I remembered I stopped for gas at station near this hotel. I called the hotel to get the number of the gas station and again it was Katrina who answered the phone and very supportively she found me the number and it was fortunate that my wallet was at the gas station. While figuring out away of getting this wallet back to me to Toronto I tried calling back to the hotel to see if they could help me in any way. Front desk agent Sabine Bass (my savior that night) happened to answer the phone and she was so kind enough to go above and beyond and to go pick u my wallet from the gas station and mail it to me. That is an outstanding service.
I my self is a hospitality professional at a Five star property in down town Toronto and I should say this team at Hilton Garden Inn Watertown is so authentic and outstanding. The service is Five star and Hats off to all the associates at this hotel and we are looking forward to see this fabulous service team soon in the near future…. A very big thanks to SABINE BASS for going that extra mile to help me with...
Read moreWe cant say anything bad about this hotel at all, saturday ( 8/30 ) myself and my newly married wife took our honeymoon to old forge to a hotel that was just awful that we were looking so forward to, the pictures there just didn't live up to what we checked into a nightmare we drove a little over 2 hours there just to check out an hour later from there and had booked here at Watertown Hilton Garden Inn hoping this would be better, even having to drive another extra 2 hours more north which i didn't mind because my wife is from the southern part of the state and never been to the thousand islands region ever so i wanted to show her here always. I must say we got there around 8pm and I unfortunately didn't get there names at the front desk staff a young lady, and a couple other gentlemen but was greeted with a warm welcome and told them our story & these front desk staff went above and beyond to even get us champagne complimentary and brought it up to our room for us, we stayed in room 339 with the jacuzzi in the room, myself being a former exec housekeeping manager in the syracuse area, I always inspect a room where I stay most of the time finding a couple things wrong they missed and let me tell ya, there was absolutly not one thing I could find wrong, the room was immaculate, sparkling clean not even exaggerating this, from the parking lot all the way up to our room the building was so clean, every staff member was greeting other guests walking by including ourselves and shows this team knows hospitality and makes there guests feel as if were all family to them the entire stay we were there until Monday ( 9/ 1 ) I'd like to also give a shout out to the young lady Monday morning working breakfast around 9am when we came down also knowing great customer service and satisfaction of delicious food with the kitchen staff! All we have to say is we left feeling so happy and how great of a relaxing stay there we had and I myself always leave a review, we want to say to us this hotel deserves a 5 star rating, its great to see that myself coming from working hotels the management with there staff does an excellent job and excellent job to the housekeeping manager, you have an amazing team!
