Heart to Heart Bride — Attraction in Town of Webster

WOW what an amazing experience at Heart to Heart Bride!! I made my appointment roughly two weeks before and within an hour had an email to schedule my 1-1 zoom call with Sarah. She began that by asking me about my fiance and our story and you can tell that she just loves love. She was so knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns and got an idea of what I was looking for. We talked for about 20 minutes and I never felt rushed to get off. I picked out four dresses from their Pinterest catalog to have in the room waiting for me upon arrival and she warned me IMMEDIATELY that one of my picks was out of my budget but offered to pull something similar. I really respected that, because she knew it was already a favorite and could've let me try it on and fall in love with it to try and make a sale for a more expensive gown and didn't. I will say though that when I got there only 3 dresses were in the room but they did still offer to go pull one.

The bays that held my guests and had my changing room were so large and open. We never felt cramped and it also was relatively private, which I loved. My stylist put me in ~12 (maybe I lost count) different gowns and was so patient. She asked all the right questions and got closer to my vision each time she pulled dressed. Eventually, toward the end, she asked if I wanted to put my top contender back on again. She then grabbed the PERFECT veil to go with it. Up to that point I wasn't sold, I loved the dress a lot but didn't have that gut feeling everyone describes. When she put the veil on I immediately started grinning, then crying, and knew it was the one. You could tell that everyone there had joy for me. Sarah even came over to look and congratulate me.

I originally had two appointments scheduled for the day, one at Heart to Heart and one at Lovely Bride an hour after. I'm from Buffalo and was travelling to Rochester so I figured I should make the trip worthwhile for my guests. While I was trying on dresses and I didn't have THAT moment I fully expected to have to go to Lovely Bride. When that didn't happen, Heart to Heart even covered the cost of the short notice cancellation of my second appointment at Lovely Bride, which was such an amazing touch. We had a celebratory toast in the lounge and they took a bunch of pictures for me of "she said yes to the dress".

In the midst of all the emotion of finding my dress, I realized I never took a picture of myself in the dress with my veil. My sister had a video but I asked if it was at all possible to put the dress back on and they said yes with no hesitation! The whole time my stylist talked to me about my wedding plans and how she was so happy for me. My experience at Heart to Heart Bride was the best! They made this experience amazing from the time I booked the appointment all the way to saying yes to the dress. About 1 week prior to my actual appointment, I did a zoom interview with Sarah, and she took time to learn all about my fiancé and I, how we got engaged, what we do for fun, and all the details about my wedding! They made it so personable! Sarah and I went through their Pinterest boards to see what dresses they could pull for me and so they could get a feel of what I loved and what I didn't really care for in a dress. I booked a private appointment, because I had the max amount of guests going, and it was SO worth it! If you're on the fence about a private appointment, DO IT, you won't regret it. My consultant Zoe was literally amazing. She started the appointment by asking some questions about my fiancé and I and about our wedding, the theme, and the venue. I went to the shop with a dress in mind that I had been dreaming about for months prior, and Zoe recommended that I try it on first. I fell in love with it the second I stepped into it and pulled it up. I was done then. But, to be sure I tried on several different dresses, and Zoe was great to talk to and express what I loved about certain dresses and what I didn't really love about them. She was open to hear what I was saying, but also felt comfortable enough with me and my party to also give her feedback, which was always helpful! She offered to pull a few wildcard dresses just to see different styles. After trying about 7 or 8 dresses total, it was back to the original dress. Zoe "glammed" me up, with sleeves, veil and all, it made it so real and made me love the dress even more! After choosing the dress, I wanted a veil as well, and Zoe did a great job in entertaining my ideas of different veils, and she ended up picking a veil I would have never chosen, and I fell in love. I never expected to have such an overwhelmingly positive experience trying on dresses as a plus size Bride, and my experience at Heart to Heart has been better than I could have ever imagined at every step of the way! I HIGHLY recommend Heart to Heart to any and every bride!

From my virtual consultation with Ashley, to my bridal appointment with Rachel, a follow up with Ashely, and email communications with Sarah, this team has been so kind, caring, knowledgeable, and responsive.

It really felt like the entire experience was tailored to my needs. They had a beautiful and varied selection of gowns (and in sample sizes that fit!) and Rachel brought in a great mix of dresses and accessories I had asked for, along with things she thought I might like. I always felt comfortable, listened to, and encouraged. I never felt pressured and the team really let me take my time to find my dream dress, including helping me envision what my dress will look like with alterations and customizations.

For my initial appointment, I booked the private suite which was SO beautiful and so fun since I had a bigger group of people with me. Having the extra space and time was so worth it for me, but the entire store is so beautiful that I don't think you can go wrong with any of their appointment options. I did a follow up appointment in one of their fitting rooms and it was still so spacious and private.

Now that I've ordered my dress, I STILL feel so supported by the Heart to Heart team as they've been so responsive with any questions and have followed up with recommendations for tailors/seamstresses that are best suited for my needs.
